Just so you know, peppermint oil does _NOT_ repel Australian pigeons, not in the slightest. I've now gone through an entire concentrated bottle in my sprayer, the most recent use was almost totally peppermint concentrate with a few drops of water.. nada.. The only thing buying peppermint oil to *get rid of pigeons* achieves is more money for the peppermint oil companies & a very smelly entranceway/balcony to the point of making the inside of your nose twitch.

California officially bans most law enforcement officers from wearing masks during operations

California became the first state to ban most federal immigration agents from covering their faces while sneaking around abducting people under a bill that was signed Saturday by Gov. Newsom.

No more hiding their identities from their families, bosses, friends & others because they're too ashamed of their acts.

Energy-efficiency per liter doesn't explain it either though, the new one still uses more power per liter:

Hisense fridge: 179L at 172Kwh (0.96kWh per Liter per annum)
New fridge: 255L at 268kWh (1.05kWh per Liter per annum)

It was just a shock that the new "5 star" "high efficiency" model uses almost 100kWh more for only a bit more space I guess..

I'm confused..

My Hisense fridge, the specs say it uses 172kWh per year and has an Energy Star Rating of 2.5, yet the fridge I've just bought to replace it says it has an Energy Star Rating of 5.0 and uses 268kWh per year..

If it uses MORE power surely the rating should be 'less'?...

Great work Canada! 👍🍁

Now here's what we need for this Saturdays Australian election:
- Greens with the biggest swing in Australian History.
- Minority Labor Government who must work with Greens.
- The lowest vote count & seats for the LNP in Australian History.
- Vote numbers for TrumpetOfMorons so low that the party is eliminated and their handful of votes automatically get given to Greens.

A little Cost of Living tip for others who order delivery through Coles:

If your delivery time shown online goes over the estimate of the time range you chose, open the 'Chat with Us' link at bottom left of coles website (blue icon), type 'talk with agent' at the AIBot, then it'll transfer you to a person, give them your order number and show it's being held up, and more often than not they'll give you a $15 credit on your account, on the spot, to use next time.

When i've had the dental pain so bad I've found the only thing that has helped (while waiting for the meds to kick in) has been holding a cold compress to the area while I do laps of the house, pacing or fast walking seems to help a lot (maybe distracts the mind? not sure..) for when it's just too painful to sit there, after a few short minutes it seems to ease doing that. Another weird suggestion I know, lol, but works for me, hope it helps.

Pain is a lot more manageable today, around a 4 out of 10, was given two lots of different antibiotics at the docs today to take for 5 days 3x a day, hopefully that'll kill off the infections 👍 I did try the Clove Oil after I bought some at the chemist, not too sure if it worked though or if I was doing it wrong, ahwell, less pain is goooooooooood.

Dental Pain is bad, maxed out the amount of panamax & ibuprofen I can take in a 24hr period (been around 18hrs since I started dosing to cope with the pain), but on the flip side as I held an ice pack to the side of my face early this morning watching TV I zoned out watching SBS-Vice's really touching documentary on the life of Robin Williams.. Docs app at 3pm today, then I'll be munching on antibiotics for the next few days to clear the infections hopefully 👍 💊

Shower Thoughts with Chronic Dental Pain: "Why do they say 'take 2x pain killer tablets every 4-6hrs only' when they wear-off after just 2hrs?.." 🤔 😫

Unfortunately all I can do is maintenance and pain management with mine, my wisdom teeth are broken in pieces and under the gumline so it'd be very difficult to rectify, and dangerous opening those areas up to the bloodstream now I've been told :(

Day two of painful deep wisdom teeth abscess and here are my findings;

- Panamax (2x 500mg tabs) : barely any effect.
- Ibuprofen (2x 400mg tabs) : shortlasting effect.
- Cepacaine (anesthetic) : barely any effect (topical/likely too deep).
- Combined Warm Saltwater gargle for a few mins and a Voltaren 50mg tab : Success! Pain relief lasted approx 4 hours, redoing the saltwater gargle when the pain returned also took the edge off the pain again soon after. 👍

Hope all goes well 👍 From experience there is NOTHING worse than dental pain, not even back pain comes close (and I've had both chronically), an abscess under my lower right wisdom tooth started shouting at me yesterday and I've been in agony on and off since with a couple hours sleep this morning, 10mins of warm salt water gargling earlier and scouring the medicine bag for stronger pain killers just now I found some out of date voltaren, lol... better than nothing.. Nope, nothing worse.

Someone may have already suggested but; something that really helped when I had abscess under some of my teeth was to swish warm saltwater around my mouth getting it in every nook & cranny after I'd finished brushing my teeth as the last thing at night before bed, after a few days it helped to take the infection down.. Hope it helps, tooth pain is the WORST! :(
