David Potter, the man behind Psion Computers has died.<br/><br/>When the university computers were crap, I thought &#34;Sod this, I&#39;ll use my Series 3 organiser to write my dissertation&#34;. And I did. Bloody minded Brummie and all that 😀 <br/><br/>Wonderful hardware and software. No bloat, ran for hours on 2 AA batteries and no ads, pop ups or garbage that we have online these days.<br/><br/>Rest in peace David. Psion products were the gateway for so many of us into the world of tech. Thank you, Sir.<br/><br/><a href="https://www.theregister.com/personal-tech/2026/07/03/david-potter-the-man-who-put-psion-in-the-palm-of-your-hand-logs-off-at-82/5266624">https://www.theregister.com/personal-tech/2026/07/03/david-potter-the-man-who-put-psion-in-the-palm-of-your-hand-logs-off-at-82/5266624</a><br/><br/>#Psion #Series3 #DavidPotter 2026-07-07T20:49:39Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqswuduv4qvwuz5xeelrmfxtqmw0hmhvq6a62deytta88ek3gzyq82qzyrf853x3vyqk07vsnuc93y4g0td36mhz3xq9dylmw4cvj3xvzszhu9wa94g In reply to <a href='/nevent1qqswex9pc0y2yw5rpj2hgehuf20ml8k87u3wzw3xwlwzd4jwrwv43lqpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerfw36x7tnsw43qqxk0au'>nevent1q…k0au</a><br/>_________________________<br/><br/><span itemprop="mentions" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Person"><a itemprop="url" href="/nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyd968gmewwp6kyqpql3z6awrp9pkemqjyvs8txg2sq3zp9x25tx7zt8lgkne5y5pvg7asuzcy5p" class="bg-lavender dark:prose:text-neutral-50 dark:text-neutral-50 dark:bg-garnet px-1"><span>nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyd968gmewwp6kyqpql3z6awrp9pkemqjyvs8txg2sq3zp9x25tx7zt8lgkne5y5pvg7asuzcy5p</span> (<span class="italic">nprofile…cy5p</span>)</a></span> I love soy sauce.
