So far my journey with jj https://www.jj-vcs.dev/latest/ is an interesting one. I realize how deeply engrained git is in my head, and it is quite freeing to let some of that go and just trust that jj has all the state I want.

I hope it catches on, doing plain git already feels cumbersome.

It's been a while. But I still miss the pure joy the syntax and API design of Cocoa and Objective-C gave me. Such a sweet spot of readability, functionality and consistency - just the right tradeoffs for my needs as creative App developer that want's to supply as native of an experience to users as possible.

Wondering if anything will ever come close again for me.

Since I seem to have lost all my #macOS mojo: is there any way to disable that dreaded autofill overlay in messages on mac? I never want to use it and it obscures screen estated and makes me anxious I might accidentially choose some random auto AI generated response :( Haven't found a suitable entry in the edit menu or settings so far.

One nice thing to say about the new toolbars in glassOS26: because of margins and space, they are required to be big enough to also be reasonable touch targets without much hinderance. Sneaky.

I really think the clear winner will be the iPad. If they pull all that stuff off. Sadly past records show that these amount of ambitious changes often make a very poor 1.0 or even get punted…

#Apple #WWDC25
