AI can make content infinite, but neither human attention nor computation is infinite. As more people retreat into AI-generated consumption, productive human effort becomes scarcer and more valuable. At the same time, growing machine activity raises the opportunity cost of computation. Bitcoin could monetize that computational scarcity, acting as a hurdle rate for low-value machine activity and helping counterbalance an economy of infinite AI slop.
