Plex was basically unusable. Even if we dropped new media in we had to go manually tell it to scan, it was constantly getting things wrong, not playing stuff that we already had, etc. Jellyfin worked better immediately. We did finally get an induction stove top ~4 years ago and the plug-in got passed to a friend who used it a ton (yes it lasted that long! it was only like $100 in 2010!)
