Not the reality.

Real confidence is about how you carry yourself when you speak.

Here's what confident communication actually looks like:

1️⃣ Slow Down Your Pace

❌ Rushing under pressure is anxiety running the show.
✅ Slowing down stops the approval-chasing and starts the leading.

2️⃣ Say Less, Mean More

❌ Overexplaining is a sign you're seeking validation.
✅ Discipline your words. Say what's true and stop there.

3️⃣ Finish Your Sentences

❌ Trailing off means you don't trust what you're saying.
✅ If you believe it, say it fully and let it land.

4️⃣ Lower Your Tone, Not Your Energy

❌ Loudness is not strength. It's compensation.
✅ You don't need to raise your voice to be taken seriously.

5️⃣ Make Eye Contact When You Speak

❌ Avoiding eye contact is your body giving you away.
✅ If you mean it, look them in the eye and say it.

6️⃣ Pause Instead of Filling Silence

❌ Filling every gap is a habit built from discomfort.
✅ Being at ease with silence means being at ease with yourself.

Those who command the most respect aren't the ones talking the most.

They're the ones who mean every word they say.

Want to build the discipline and presence needed to talk like a leader?

♻️ Repost to help others speak with confidence

Follow 4 more on leadership and self-mastery.

#motivation #selfhelp #publicspeaking #communicationskills

2026-03-11T02:25:59Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsqf8259ef4frrh482d2xwa529z6luprf3649lt0qwkz8g8ympuh0qzyzkrgzs0lfy9385c47zhwa29985vt8ml6yg0r0yr958g6nzd85v9xcxwkdp "First say to yourself what you would be; and then do what you have to do."

~ EPICTETUS
2026-02-01T15:11:18Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsryxqzamnfh67gu7cn09zdvj90f9ppd4f204ywt2hnkc3jjeygltqzyzkrgzs0lfy9385c47zhwa29985vt8ml6yg0r0yr958g6nzd85v9xj6q62q 🗾 One haunting image just shook a £22 billion fashion empire harder than a thousand sustainability reports.

This isn’t a SHEIN ad gone wrong. It’s a provocation—an AI artwork by Emanuele Morelli.

The billboard looks normal—until you see it: the model’s flowing dress unravels mid-air into a cascade of textile waste.

The seduction is reversed. You were the target. Now you can’t look away.

Here’s what that image forces us to face:

1. The scale of fashion waste is insane.
🟠 92 million tonnes of textile waste annually
🟠 That’s one garbage truck of clothes dumped every second
🟠 Most fast fashion is worn <10 times

2. The system counts on you forgetting.
🟠 New trends drop weekly
🟠 Prices so low they feel fake
🟠 You’re addicted to the scroll, not the clothes

3. “Affordable” is a lie.
🟠 Behind the price tag: pollution, microplastics, burnout
🟠 Factories with 75-hour work weeks
🟠 Communities poisoned for your £4 dress

4. Cheap for you = expensive for everyone else.
🟠 Someone’s health
🟠 A river system
🟠 The future

5. We can change this—but not without guts.
🟢 Resale, rental, repair are growing
🟢 Circular models are real
🟢 Awareness must become action

SHEIN isn’t alone—but it’s the poster child.
Morelli’s art doesn’t preach. It seduces, then withdraws. It leaves us chasing answers we already know.

What does your wardrobe say about your values?

2025-07-09T20:44:23Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqszvkuq342w5cqzrxgxc724kgxlupwpapatwpynhhyrufwcchnwkvszyzkrgzs0lfy9385c47zhwa29985vt8ml6yg0r0yr958g6nzd85v9xks4kd9 In reply to nevent1q…9dev
_________________________

🫡 2025-07-06T01:32:00Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqswesehqrxfz9mfxlqktdvhu4tnec5hf3pv9cp4walf0h7tghrc98czyzkrgzs0lfy9385c47zhwa29985vt8ml6yg0r0yr958g6nzd85v9xnekr78 In reply to nevent1q…nqz7
_________________________

#Bitcoin 66606.66 🤔😳 2024-09-27T15:27:21Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqst7qf85gmzw55akyhzhh2hjevaruqd9e3f0y5t8kuqt8yasjec96czyzkrgzs0lfy9385c47zhwa29985vt8ml6yg0r0yr958g6nzd85v9xtf825t 🫡 A father told his daughter, "Congrats on your graduation.
