In this piece, I wanted to capture the way the dancer&#39;s movement and the material of her skirt interacted with the light around her as she danced. I used a mixture of watercolor, soft pastel, and charcoal applied using a combination of brushes and my fingers and hands.<br/><br/>18x24 <br/><br/>#watercolor #pastel #mixedmedia #art<br/><br/> <img src="https://cdn.masto.host/frontendsocial/media_attachments/files/115/758/548/144/391/508/original/ef848c86a21fb98a.jpg"> <br/> <img src="https://cdn.masto.host/frontendsocial/media_attachments/files/115/758/548/271/883/065/original/faab9be113e192ec.jpg"> <br/> <img src="https://cdn.masto.host/frontendsocial/media_attachments/files/115/758/548/364/652/523/original/a039f796337008d8.jpg"> 2025-12-21T16:42:20Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsx2v6pjfll6n4n759phu8ex9qh3zel2pc0jyvzhqqdc653zqyyzxszyzyyfryl7rwj5ca5t32fls2xu0pzj9fr08jwc5rueumpt9kya8v9jkcjuav It&#39;s 4:30pm on a Friday, so you know what that means...<br/><br/>Time to deploy the new redesign! <br/><br/>Lesson learned: Don&#39;t make major new features along with a redesign. 😅 <br/><br/>This has taken so much work. I wanted to figure out a way to combine my other content with my blog so that was a big change.<br/><br/><a href="https://sia.codes/">https://sia.codes/</a> 2025-05-30T20:30:55Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsdd58qyspwff0gruwru2a24sk5nh8ypwv9t7y37tw7wr60q95fq0szyzyyfryl7rwj5ca5t32fls2xu0pzj9fr08jwc5rueumpt9kya8v9jmjlw44 In reply to <a href='/nevent1qqsgjtk5s292ggpcs56h2732qaca7grmgpqf42ndvhhk9c5f2h4h5mcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumt0wd68ytnsw43qxjg3gc'>nevent1q…g3gc</a><br/>_________________________<br/><br/><span itemprop="mentions" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Person"><a itemprop="url" href="/npub1vs7zqaap2fjk2f8lvmpvtwp92ml4n326cf7tpp90508a9ca5q8yslza6g3" class="bg-lavender dark:prose:text-neutral-50 dark:text-neutral-50 dark:bg-garnet px-1"><span>npub1vs7zqaap2fjk2f8lvmpvtwp92ml4n326cf7tpp90508a9ca5q8yslza6g3</span> (<span class="italic">npub1vs7…a6g3</span>)</a></span> tomato potato totato pomato 2024-09-04T14:45:22Z
