Somebody’s on the phone for you!”<br/><br/>And if the person wasn’t home, you had to find a pencil, locate a piece of paper, write down the message, and hope you didn’t lose it before they got back.<br/><br/>There was no caller ID, no text message, and certainly no way to pretend you hadn’t seen the call!<br/><br/>And if somebody was on the phone too long, everybody else in the house had an opinion about it.<br/><br/>We’ve come a long way, haven’t we?<br/><br/>So tell me, what’s something from back in the day that you almost can’t believe we used to do? 2026-10-14T13:37:49Z
