there's a particular streak in leftist organising in particular where people seem to think that their cause is so worthy, their idea so good and self evident, them so clearly the right person to deliver it, that everyone around them should drop everything to immediately help them

i am begging people to stop this and get serious about either paying people, offering other in-kind support, or just joining and being part of communities you admire for a bit first before demanding other peoples free labour
