O'Neill and Teal'c are caught in a time loop in the S.G.C., and must relive the same 10 hours over and over again.

This episode made me laugh out loud at least 3 or 4 times. I LOVE the running “Ok, bad example.” joke plus all the Groundhog Day references. This is like #StarTrek TNG’s ‘Cause and Effect’ but 1000x more fun. The team searches for a brainwashed assassin within their ranks before a major diplomatic meeting and in the process Jack & Sam must admit how they *really* feel about each other.

- I remember Vanessa Angel from the TV version of Wierd Science. One problem is padding. It’s wildly inconsistent. One moment there’s double the traditional padding needed around controls in order to show off the Liquid Glass. Then in other areas icons and buttons are WAY cramped.

Seems pretty obvious some areas of the OS have received tons of attention and others feel completely overlooked.

#WWDC

2025-06-11T12:30:17Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsf9leq3cf5qnqpe2gtnm6rgucgj8np3u6m4790xcamhmxast94c3gzyp25r4a27rkdxvav7w0jge2gfq68vxmuxek73g4mxjjg3kj3xg85wcnmsm4 In reply to nevent1q…mdez
_________________________

Because the soft, chromatic shadows generally can’t be seen against iOS 26’s near black backgrounds, Liquid Glass icons actually look crisper when viewed in Dark Mode. Might be a partial workaround for those of you out there with sensitive eyes. I think it goes without saying that this is a basic design flaw. #WWDC

2025-06-11T01:23:36Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsgt939w69q0w7drf52elr5686gz49z57l2wl7nuuuzpqeun9fj6fgzyp25r4a27rkdxvav7w0jge2gfq68vxmuxek73g4mxjjg3kj3xg85wf0l8t2 I know I have aging eyes but the more I look at Liquid Glass app icons the fuzzier they get. The subtle glass bezels, reflected edge highlights and soft chromatic shadows result in an icon that is super soft and fuzzy at size.

I suppose I’ll get used to them but they are negating these high res retina displays big time. It’s like I’m looking at the icons through cheese cloth or something. #WWDC

2025-06-10T23:44:12Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsfsm2h8vj7lwxtfng79ar5qehfpv96hwuh7zl9dqc3gg9cqxshvdczyp25r4a27rkdxvav7w0jge2gfq68vxmuxek73g4mxjjg3kj3xg85whsg27m In reply to nevent1q…z4sc
_________________________

Boy, the SG1 team sure left a crap load of equipment back on P2X-416, didn’t they? Col O’Neil is stranded on a distant world when the Stargate there is buried in a meteor strike. After giving up all hope of ever making it home he falls in love with a native woman and starts to settle down just when he is rescued.

Fantastic episode with shades of #StarTrek TNG’s The Inner Light.
