quoting

this is quite possibly the dumbest ranked mode I've ever witnessed. it's all just luck gekiso. you stack all the cards that increase your luck gekiso score. and then! you get lucky during it. preferably during the first 3 seconds when your score is tripled. it doesn't even matter what you're doing outside the 3 scoring periods

2026-10-24T11:34:59Z

I keep wondering why it is that you hear "I was afraid so I asked AI" or "I was afraid so I told AI to do it". Is AI just the fear remover because if it fucks up you can blame the AI and move on and live and learn but if you try to do it all by yourself and you fuck up it's your own fault and you feel bad. Is the value people see in AI just that they have a convenient thing to blame and excuse instead of having it be on you

2026-10-24T11:10:44Z

I was thinking the way game interest me is that either they have some sort of a big intertwined system where I give myself an advantage by doing the maths and having a strategy and you know having found some sort of an optimal next move or the perfect deck that has an advantage etc

but then on the very opposite end, if a game has NONE of that, and it becomes a pure showcase of some external ability or a thing of beauty or just something funny, that's great because I can just rest up the part of my brain that would be inclined to strategize

which leaves games that try both in the kind of a weird middle point where it's not strategical enough or the strategy is tiring compared to the rest of it
