Really wished more people can over from Vintage Retro Game Club. I talked to a few people from there in the final days. It was the ONLY form of social media they used. Evidently if you guys are planning on getting Castlevania Belmonts Revenge, don't get it on Switch or Switch 2. It runs in the sub 30FPS and has all kinds of pairing back to the visuals. This is crazy. It's a 2D platformer. No reason for it to run this poorly on the Switch.

I have read that too but that was a few days ago. But with it going directly into Gamepass I expected most of the people to play it there. This also attributes to the time played. So many people have nothing to lose by giving it a shot and playing it for less than a few hours.

Halo Infinite, Forza and Halo CE have similar issues. Gamepass is a gift and a curse.

I respect your opinion but the facts are that they had 3.2 million players since last week. The second largest Xbox launch this year next to Forza Horizon 6s 5.7 million.

Sales no longer matter. With over 2 million of the 3.2 playing on Gamepass. Myself included. I'm just over an hour in and blown away. I haven't seen all the "wokeness" I keep hearing about but the game already has give me 2 "HOLY SHIT" moments.

The Game Gear version is almost identical to this one. Great game and has a different vibe than Castlevania but still very much a rip off.

PSA: Microsoft launched its Disc to Digital program for all Xbox users. The program let's you put in the disc into your Series X or Xbox One console and claim the digital license for that game that can be played anywhere the game is supported sans disc. You just have to be signed in.

IMO this is the correct way forward for physical games. Just over 2000 Xbox One and Series X titles are supported and 1 Xbox 360 game so far. With more getting added every week.
