As would using fragmented amounts, and sending differing rather than consistent amounts in swaps. Parking some in XMR for a while could also make it difficult to follow the transaction. And sticking to amounts that are common rather than very large/small amounts also probably makes tracking more difficult. A trustworthy VPN (most are probably honey pots), TOR, or tunnel would be essential to hide your IP from any node your wallet talks to.
