He only made a few at a time and they sold out in minutes when he put them on his website. So I was never able to get one.<br/><br/>I concluded that to have a brass handled SAK, I&#39;d have to make it myself, and the idea has been in the back of my mind for years.<br/><br/>My roadblock the last time I tried to take action on this project was that I couldn&#39;t find a good source for the 2 and 3mm threaded tubes used for the pivot pins.<br/><br/>During some free time last month, I had Chat gpt do a search for me, and it turns out there are now people selling pivot pin and screw sets on Etsy. I also found a set of machined brass scales. My great grandpa bought it new. He died before I was born and the tractor passed to my grandpa. He used it while I was growing up. I drove it to school once for FFA week and took a few of the girls in my class for rides around the parking lot.<br/><br/>I was borrowing the tractor when I was starting up my own farm and it caught fire in my shop, and burned up the wiring, battery, instrument panel, and steering column.
