Since it's at the governments request to specifically have access to user data it gives them a means to acquire it on their own via unencrypted channels. They could serve up a warrant on a user with zero resistance from Apple. It's weaponization through hyper implementation of surveillance, which i don't seem to understand considering the U.K typically we're more suggestive of user data privacy.
