Yes. Had two primary aged children. Two working parents. We car pooled or walked. Luckily we both worked in the suburb where we lived. Husband had a km more than me to walk. Going home was uphill all the way. Everyone just adjusted their lives. Car pooling worked well for most people. We just got on with it. I personally didn’t know anyone who cheated the system.

The anxiety was worse for me. It shaped much of my behaviour. It’s only as a senior and having an autistic child undiagnosed until an adult that I began to understand myself.

I developed phobias and if a single incident gave me a scare I Would refuse to do that activity ever again. School was a nightmare I threw up at the bus stop every morning for a year. Mum persisted and eventually I went to school and stayed there. There are some things I still won’t do even now. I think there is hope for Flip. He’s still very young.

My severely disabled sister who has immuno suppressant infusions monthly has to go for a scan a few days ago. Now she has come down with a virus and she’s really ill. We suspect she caught it at the hospital. There is no protection for our vulnerable any more. Hospitals are unsafe.

So there is never any collateral damage? You can’t enforce a regime change from outside. Regime change needs to come from within or continuing chaos is the result. Afghanistan and Iraq are good examples.

I think your son knows how to upset you. He’s a smart kid. Enjoy some time out you’re entitled to some down time.

the child would learn consequences. I’d stand and watch while they cleaned off the mess. Your kid is a smart kid. He’s old enough now to learn for every action there is a reaction.

I think there is a link. Lot of cases in my extended family. Fibromyalgia also which I think is a form of post viral syndrome.

I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with such hard stuff. I’ll be honest I know I couldn’t. I hope today will be better for you.

Honestly I don’t think I could do your job at all. You’re an amazing mum! I’m not surprised you’re tired. Child will get over the mood. They always do.

Must be very difficult having a small child that has so much control over your lives. I’m not sure I’d be able to cope. You must be exhausted.

I think we are already there dating back to John Key. Dirty Politics began on the 9th floor and has escalated until it’s an every day occurrence. It’s aided and abetted by a gutter press. It’s behind the misinformation circulating on social media. Goebbels was an amateur compared to the Political Black Ops in 2025. Misinformation is used to combat any progressive policy and to protect the interests of the Global elite.

Yes. Mutual support for necessities to those struggling. Non judgemental gifts of food, kids needs, mental health support to one very vulnerable resident, community clean ups of the streams and the beaches and parks. Free clothing on racks at library. Patrons bring in really good clothing it’s all free just help yourself. Seedling table at the library. So many things happening.

Lots of good stuff happening in Communities by the Community. It never gets reported in MSM. It’s the only thing that prevents me from sinking into a state of absolute hopelessness. There are still caring people out there. Caring for the environment and the people.

My autistic great nephew is very scared of germs. His OCD has been an advantage in this Pandemic. His mum is working to bring him to understand when he will be safe and when he should be taking precautions. It’s been very hard for him to be living during a Pandemic.

Observing from afar it seems that your present Government is a Tory Government. There is no way they represent the working class. I have always thought Starmer is a Tory Plant within the Party.

The Scottish comedienne Janie Godley is now going into hospice care. Her cancer treatment no longer working and it has spread. She made me laugh so hard with her voice over videos on Social Media. She put out a video this morning with her news. The bravest of ladies. 😥

I don’t think we can ever advertise 100% pure ever again. I don’t think we can say we are a great place to live. We have a Society full of Conspiracy theorists and people who believe in individualism and not the greater good. We have overt racists. They are fearless under this Coalition Government. We are not the people we once were. I love the beauty of our Country. I love the fact I live in a suburb with so many different ethnicities. I don’t like the present culture.

I fear the new rules for those on Supported living benefit will drive some to suicide. It happened in the UK. Some were even sanctioned and I once saw a report where one man had starved to death. The cruelty of this Government is staggering.
