The html directory is simply the default, based on our recommendation to use one Asteroid per project for proper separation. If you absolutely want to, though, you can create as many additional DocRoots as you wish.

Yes. We plan an "auto migration" when Uberspace 8 is out of beta, until then you can create a new asteroid and migrate yourself.

You can create a new Uberspace 8 Asteroid in the Dashboard and move your stuff there, check out https://u8manual.uberspace.de/first_u7/ for the main differences to Uberspace 7.

it is not on U7, but just use an U8 Beta Asteroid and you can be served via http/3 :-)

Guten Abend!

Installationsanleitung: https://lab.uberspace.de/

It should be obvious to fight fascism at first sight. However, these days it seems like many people forgot about that. All the more reason to take a clear stance 💪!
For many years, we've been committed to antifascist and democratic positions which leave no space for such ideologies. Among other steps, our house rules ( https://uberspace.de/en/about/houserules/ ) reflect this.
So, if you’re looking for a hosting provider with principles, keep us in mind! 🚀

We know how hard it could be to handle the ever-increasing number of bad actors scraping your websites too well. Therefore, we decided to sponsor #Anubis¹ as a tool that helps users to block or at least slow down these bad actors.
We are currently evaluating how we could integrate Anubis or some similar solution to our stack and make it available as a uberspace command and backend.

Hate it when your data and art is stolen to train AI slop? Or that you have to talk to AI bots that don't understand what you really need? We know that feeling too well.
At Uberspace, we don't do this to you. We value you and your time. If you contact our support you will always talk directly to a human, crafting your answer with love. Just like the code written by our team of developers.
Your data is yours, and we will never train models on your data.
Welcome to #Uberspace! 🚀

Seeing all the big tech bros standing behind Trump, smiling supportively? Scary, huh?
Maybe you want to host your stuff, like your website, mail or a lot more, at a hoster that not only supports your technical freedom but also has a stable stance on discrimination and antifacism in its house rules: https://uberspace.de/en/about/houserules/
Welcome to #Uberspace! 🚀
We also have very good docs on how to set up many awesome #OpenSource tools on our platform: https://lab.uberspace.de/
It's easier than you think!
