its a little bit ironic how we have all these kinds and nips but end up with only using kind1 for many things.
maybe thats not even a problem?
even if I'd sometimes wish, I had a easily watchable gallery of all the photos I posted here since 2023, I currently just dump them into the void. And I hate the idea having so many clients for social aspects. I really just need one for socials.
but kind20 (for photos) also has its charm...

well, there are. but photos run under a different kind, which means it wouldn't show in your note feed, which means barely anyone is using or looking at it right now. photos+notes go too well together. most people paste the media link in their note and that's it. difficult to handle and to figure out how to do it best.

Everyone of us is gifted with talents. But what is really supporting us to fulfill and live these talents? rigid school systems, a society built on quantity, everything is slowly rotting away. I'm so tired of saying stuff like this, the sheer normality of this reality became so dry over the years and lately it just feels like a never ending bad trip. Everybody is so tired around me. I feel so betrayed by the economy in so many aspects. I often feel powerless, and I'm sooo pissed. And tomorrow, I'm doing the same [insert 'this is fine.' meme] smalltalk I do for years, again. And never get a talk about inflation and our fucked up monetary system somewhere because it's a lot and remember, everyone is chronically tired and kinda burnt out on soul level. And this just kept me awake. Just like when I did more earth activism or learned about the wonders of the bittie. Don't you feel similar? I'm numbed. My capacity is full. Like, full, full. All I really want is to nourish what I love. Peace out ✌🏼

Our weekend nights were fun because I have vibe coded two games. One was a classic board game with different event fields with quiz questions. The other one was difficult questions, where everyone has to type in a possible correct answer and would try to convince others that theirs is right without everyone noticing it's theirs.
10/10 can recommend. 🥳 each game took me about 30mins. 30mins of staring into my computer.

I love the simplicity of damus and I use it everyday for 3 years now, intensely. I shill damus to every IOS user that is interested in Nostr because I genuinely like it. but whatever.
It's saddening that I can't interact with my all of my nostr fellows freely through simple notes by using my favorite client.
I'm trying to get the downside of making this change. I just want to be able to see 1111 replies on my normal notes and reply to them.
no interoperability on such a basic level sucks. If it doesn't make sense to you, all of nostr should know and not just on a side note.

2026-10-01 06:17:35 UTC

its weird to think about having kids, when it was never part of the plan before. I guess finding the right person and using tools that make the future hopeful again are a game changer. but still, all the uncertainty doesn't make it easy. or, justifying to a being, that never asked to be here, why they are here. it feels like an irrational, yet rebellious move when you look at the current state of the world.

On the one hand, it feels sad that some people became very inactive on the nostr protocol lately but I can also understand it. on the other hand, I have such a strong believe into the simple idea. And what I forever will be caring about, is the community. I hope the beliefs we all share here are strong enough. But honestly, I barely have a doubt. I replay a future with my freedom tools over and over again and there is just no way back. There is no way big social media is storing my stuff again. This goes against all the principles I worked myself towards over the last few years. free my money, free my communication. forever.
Maybe we are not supposed to make the mass happy with our nostr products. maybe we are supposed to bring todays world the importance of free speech. And this comes along with our own stories, and the unease we share about the system. there is something no soul draining thing can take from us: our ability to connect, build and to standup for each other.
That being said: when in doubt, send a GM out. 🫡💜

there are people out there with a real passion that share it on the internet alongside, and there are a lot of people who are trying to escape a regular job, their only goal is it to make money online and contribute nothing real to society. and if you're like the second, don't let your passions slumber. escape the algo and have some fun. I was that way.

2026-09-10 06:35:55 UTC

reflection dump incoming 💜
wow, time flies, and with it, my strength arises. when I joined nostr in 2023 I was just coming from instagram, the place I tried to find like minded people that share what I feel about the planet and society. of course, I tried really hard to get an audience. I did posting-time analytics, trendy music in my videos, when I look back, I feel slightly like a clown, addicted to attention. I was like an actor, performing on the modern town square. It always felt wrong, following the rules of this huge discovery algorithm. one that screams for perfection.
I am glad that my partner came up to me and said, hey, check out nostr. It was feeling odd in the first place. But since I just understood Bitcoin I really wanted to give it a try. Immediately, I started posting wise things. I messed with no one and was just trying to find friends and connections. And it took me really long to unfreeze. Like, my personality is total fire but it REALLY takes me long to show it. I know that people are getting very surprised once they know me closer... as I start to become unhinged, because I feel safer. Just something I noticed. At some point I started to write paragraphs about controversial or idealistic topics. Believing, my word has weight on the whole world. To that time I couldn't hurt a thing. Neither being unkind to humans, nor tolerating that people ignore what it means to kill an animal. Coming from a farm with hunters, I became a catastrophe for my parents and I sacrificed my body to make a point, which means I barely ate anything. At this point I realized how important it is for me, to have a strong connection to my food. And at some point I realized that some people are not bad by accident, but by pure conviction.
Over the years, the connections I made became really touching. I saw other people living a more natural life and people figuring out a way to get there. I organized meetups in real life because I think it matters. I come here daily and really try to maintain my connections. yes, afterall, its just the internet but afterall, it's real people, with real viewpoints, also carrying a lot of Weltschmerz that just can't pretend anymore.
So the point here is, I came from a place where I just wanted to make money online, with the excuse to safe the planet and be kind, to a point where I refuse to sell my soul to the algorithm and allow natural connections to emerge. Where I finally decided to accumulate skills in real life that I like, and really help someone instead of performing. When I think of a life where I am forced to film everything and edit it, to make money, idk if I could ever endure it. My creativity and I, are just like a free spirit. So I impersonate Nostr types just for the funnsies. I talk about a topic, because it really matters to me. I say good morning to someone, because I mean it. Nostr and where it was, 3 years ago, made myself more real, and I didn't even ask for it.
You all helped me to find truth. And you, yourself is just trying to find truth. And I am grateful I can experience it with the most of you. stay weird! 🫂 and maybe don't do it for content, do it for the friendships.

2026-09-08 13:23:48 UTC

nostr is chaotic, which is kinda fun, its all decentralized and everyone can do what they want with it... but it wouldn't hurt if we had some more structure. I'm here for a while and it seems like we are using kind 1 for everything. and this makes it very chaotic. (which is in general an interesting thing to perceive)
when its all about figuring things out together while we are going... which is the case right now, because only a small amount of nostr's potential is been used or tested yet, I really wish for a nostr client that shows all the nostr or freedom related projects, that sums everything up, gets the discussion in one place and would make funding, feedback and discovery for new users easier.
I have been working on something like this last year but I'm not a dev person and I have to get other things done right now... been trying to get this idea out there tho.
or am I on a wrong path with this? too impatient?

the mind is so powerful yet so irrelevant most of the time. today I really feel the need to shut it off. while it creates 1000 problems, I crave to take each little step easily. sometimes I wish to be dumb and happy, yet my mind is always analyzing, always figuring out. I enjoy that really much, but I'm realizing its the root of many of my problems.
hugs to you, good morning and see you later 🫂🚀
