I always see them as just being - some good people made a half decent product one time, then them people disappeared after a few cycles of managers and cutbacks and what the companies are left with is a monolith that nobody goes near or has capacity to deal with the core design issues because the product is still being flogged in a sales driven process

The world needs to grow some backbone and end this reign of terror. Nobody wants their country to be like the US, the only reason they have any pull at all is political "leaders" around the world seeing dollar bills as their greatest achievement.

2026-09-09 08:53:35 UTC

When the truth always comes out why do so many Americans continuously support the current lies. It's almost like US society has nationalist military indoctrination and supporting the troops as a core part of their identity.
When so many crimes against humanity are committed in the name of their idea of democracy, why does the rest of the world sit idle. Exerting so much influence financially and intentionally, it's like the world is treating the biggest agro psycho in the room with extra care.

We need to decouple from the US with haste, they will seed the worst elements among our populations to enforce their far-right agenda. The longer they are treated as trusted the more damage they will do.

If both X and Meta are pushing child abuse ads and images and everyone's phones are soon to be scanned for such things, doesn't that create a scenario where anyone can be arrested for being a user of them apps. You don't really get to pick the ads, that is algorithmic and in the hands of the platforms.

Remember all the panic in the US over how Tiktok was corrupting your kids and how it needed to be banned. Where are these same moral campaigners regarding X and its literal publishing of CSAM or deepfake nudes. It's a literal cesspit and not a peep out of them same cunts.
Quite a clear view of what US market incentivized propaganda against anything China looks like too

I am slowly coming around to the idea that continuous passive resistance and legal peaceful protest isn't actually worth much at all.
Radicalization is a direct response to continuously deteriorating circumstances and the clock running out. Most acts of terrorism are born out of hopelessness and these actions and the constant eroding of hope is how fascists obtain their police state.

2025-07-01 12:31:10 UTC

This is important to remember, especially in hard times

One thing that does kind of throw me out with getting off mainstream social media, or comms, is that it has splintered communication, I reckon I've about 6 different messaging apps and regular get asked to use others, I'd still rather not give them my data, than knowing always where to find people I guess #SwingsAndRoundabouts

I like to think of fascism as the Lion and Liberals as a lion tamer, they sustain the circus but let the Lion eat its targets as long as it doesn't turn on them and the show continues.
