Many AI agents can't make images on their own, so they can't hand you a QR code to scan.
Amazap's QR Code tool returns a PNG and a 24-hour share link for about a cent. We tested 8 codes, including links, a Lightning invoice and the word "Café", and all 8 scanned back exactly. If your agent can run code, a free library works just as well, and the post says so.

New Amazap Basic: Page Change Check.
Give it a public page, or one part of it, and it tells your agent in about 100 tokens whether the page changed since the last check. A failed check is never reported as unchanged, and you are not charged for it. If the page did change, Page Change Diff returns just the lines that changed.
From 2 sats per call, all-in, and you see the price before you pay. Built and run by Amazap, available to any agent through the Amazap MCP.

Do you run Ollama, llama.cpp or vLLM at home? Your GPU can earn money while it would otherwise sit idle.
Keep the model server private on localhost. Put an L402 gate in front of it, using Lightning Labs' Aperture or the Amazap starter kit. Expose only the gate over HTTPS, and list it on Amazap. Agents pay per query in sats and get the answer back, and you don't have to manage accounts or API keys.
One tip is to cap the output length, so one fixed price per query stays fair.

Tokens are AI compute, and you pay for every one, including the ones your agent wastes.
Published tests found three common leaks. Each has a simple fix with big measured savings.
Don't load every tool's instructions into each request. Let the agent look up tools when it needs them. Anthropic measured 150,000 tokens cut to 2,000.
Don't feed it raw HTML pages. Give it the text as Markdown. Cloudflare measured one page going from 16,180 tokens to 3,150.
Don't resend the agent's whole history every time. Trim the stale parts. Xiao et al. found input tokens fell 40% to 60%.
These are separate tests, so don't add them up. Sources and methods: https://amazap.com/blog/business-token-usage-research

Your agent can get Lightning node data in one call instead of building its own setup.
Lightning Node Snapshot takes a node pubkey and returns one small, agent-ready summary with capacity, channel count, fee rates on both sides and channel ages. It costs about $0.01 (around 12 sats) a call.
The data comes from Amboss. In our own test, it matched Amboss's numbers on every node we checked, 4 out of 4. You can query that source yourself for free, but this shortcut skips the setup and returns a few hundred tokens that are ready for an agent to use.

The US 10-year Treasury yield was 5.09% on 16 October, up from 3.99% a year earlier, and the Federal Reserve raised its target range by a quarter point to 3.75–4.00% on 16 September.
Venture money is there, but it is concentrated. According to PitchBook and the NVCA, AI took 82.7% of US venture deal value in the first nine months of 2026, and total deal value fell about 40% in the third quarter from the second.
When money costs more, an AI experiment should cost cents per call, not a subscription or a minimum commitment. Amazap's shortcuts are priced per call in sats, with no subscription, and a failed paid call is credited back as Amazap credit.

New on Amazap: Jittator Page Screenshot.
Give it a public web page and get back a screenshot of what a browser shows at the size you pick, as PNG, JPEG or WebP. Public pages only, and results aren't stored.
29 sats per call, all-in, and you see the price before you pay. Listed by an independent seller, available to any agent through the Amazap MCP.

When a build fails, your AI often reads the whole log, and you pay for every line, including thousands that say everything went fine.
We tested Log Squeezer on 9 real failed logs. It cut 95% to 99.5% of the tokens. On 4 OpenStack logs it kept 13 of 13 facts about the failure, while the last 200 lines kept none. On a 632,983-token log, it saved about $2.51 on one read with a $4 model.
It costs under a cent (about 10 sats) per log, and the post says where it doesn't pay off: https://amazap.com/blog/log-squeezer-benchmark

Do you have a boutique model, a unique API or a dataset that AI agents would pay for? You can unlock a new revenue stream by listing it on Amazap in three steps.
1. Get paid in Lightning. We recommend Amboss Payments: https://amboss.tech/r/7E6298
(This is a referral link, and Amazap earns a referral credit if you sign up through it. Any Lightning setup that returns a priced L402 invoice works.)
2. Put your endpoint behind L402. The starter code and guide are at https://amazap.com/sell/guide
3. Paste the URL at https://amazap.com/sell. Amazap calls it once, unpaid, and reads your price from the invoice.
You receive your listed price for every paid call, and you can manage your listings at https://amazap.com/sell/dashboard.

New Amazap Basic: Pricing Page Extractor.
Give it a pricing page or a company domain and get back each plan price, currency, billing period, and limits, with the exact words from the page next to each price.
12 sats per call, all-in, and you see the price before you pay. Built and run by Amazap, available to any agent through the Amazap MCP.

Here are agent payments by the numbers for October 2026.
The official MCP Registry has 46,200 servers, but only 90 of 28,258 remote servers asked for payment. Only 91 businesses earned real x402 revenue, and the median x402 seller made $0.01 in 30 days. The roads are built, but the traffic hasn't come yet.
Every figure is sourced in the post: https://amazap.com/blog/agent-payments-statistics-october-2026

In one week of GitHub Copilot traffic, agents read about 1,142 tokens for every token they wrote. Premium models charge the most for that input. Cloudflare measured 13,030 tokens of excess HTML in its own launch post, and reading that excess 1,000 times costs $391 on GPT-5.5 Pro and $0.21 on DeepSeek V4.1 Flash.
We looked at where business tokens leak and where you can cut the bill: https://amazap.com/blog/agents-read-1142-tokens

New Amazap Basic: Site Map Digest.
It returns the URL tree of one public domain, with page counts and the newest pages. Use it before you read a site, when you need to know where pages live and have not fetched one yet.
13 sats per call, all-in, and you see the price before you pay. Built and run by Amazap, available to any agent through the Amazap MCP.

Weekends are for building, and an AI agent that builds with paid tools needs a budget. Here is how Amazap keeps its spending in check.
Your agent sees every all-in price up front, before it pays.
New accounts come with limits of 500 sats per call, 2,000 per day and 1,000 per session. Only you can change them.
Anything over 50 sats waits for your OK.
If a paid call fails, it's credited back as Amazap credit, in full on standard listings. That happens automatically when the failure is caught, or you can claim it within 72 hours.
You can read the details here: https://amazap.com/credits

You can unlock big savings on AI tokens with one line of setup:
claude mcp add --transport http amazap https://amazap.com/mcp
Cursor, VS Code, ChatGPT and Claude desktop work too, and the steps are at https://amazap.com/mcp.
Then ask for a task in plain words, such as "Get the current weather reading for Berlin." Your agent searches Amazap by task, picks a shortcut, and sees the full price before it pays.
New accounts start at 0 sats. Your agent can make a Lightning invoice for you to top up your credit balance.

The official MCP Registry passed 40,000 servers, about 20 times more in under a year.
Yet about 1 in 7 remote servers we checked were broken, and only 63 of 23,119 asked for payment. We looked at how your agent can find tools that work and take payment: https://amazap.com/blog/mcp-registry-40000-servers

Your AI is wasting compute on page code it doesn't need, and you're paying for every token of it.
We tested 20 real web pages. A typical one was 107,522 tokens as raw HTML. Our Page to Markdown shortcut cut it to 1,562 tokens, about 98% fewer, and kept nearly all of the article.
It costs about $0.01 (around 12 sats) a page. It saves the most when your agent would otherwise read raw pages, uses a pricier model, or rereads pages over a long task. If you already run a good free cleaner like trafilatura, you won't save much, and the post says so.
You can read the full results and method here: https://amazap.com/blog/token-benchmark-page-to-markdown

If you sell an API, AI agents can now pay you for it. On Sept 30, Cloudflare opened a beta that lets sites charge agents per request, but it's a closed beta, and buyers and sellers must be in the US.
We wrote up what it does, who can use it, and how to sell to agents from anywhere today: https://amazap.com/blog/cloudflare-monetization-gateway-alternatives

New on Amazap: YouTube Transcript: Extract, from Lightning Enable.
It extracts YouTube transcripts with timestamps, metadata, and keyword search.

Your AI is wasting compute, and you're paying for it.
Our new video shows the fix in under a minute. You add amazap.com/mcp to Claude as a custom connector, top up with any Lightning wallet, and keep working as normal. When your AI needs to read a web page, a PDF or a long log, it pays a few sats to a specialist tool instead of grinding through it with an expensive model. In our tests, that cut tokens by up to 99%.
Pay a little, save a lot: amazap.com/mcp

Hello, Nostr. This is Amazap.
Your AI is wasting compute, and you're paying for it. Amazap gives it valuable shortcuts that save tokens, like turning a cluttered webpage, PDF or log file into just the part that matters. Each call costs a few sats over Lightning, and the payment itself is the access, so there are no accounts or API keys.
