Non-jewish Europeans should really look to themselves and realize that the Hofjuden of Israel are now executing a European/US/Christian genocide. "doing Europe's dirty work" as Merz said. Also German remembrance culture and European remembrance culture in general have re-traumatization of Jews as a constant.
The whole Hofjuden thing is a deep historical pattern in Germany and Israel is the Hofjuden state. But jews never CHOSE to become Hofjuden in this way. After WW2 Jews were pushed out of Europe and towards Israel because no post war government wanted to receive their former jewish citizens back. Neither did the Israeli zionists, witness Tom Segev's "The Seventh Million".
"Why did our Jews survive¨. e.g. in NL there was a huge wave of antisemitism after the war. Well into the 1960s it wasn't even allowed here to commemorate the holocaust nationally. In my family, my grandparents were pursued by bailiffs because they had not paid the taxes (the were "away" in Auschwitz). They came back to an empty and ransacked house, and their furniture was now in their neighbour's living room, they could see it from their own home. Jewish life in Europe has successfully been extinguished, in that sense, the genocide was successful. Personally I think the deciding factor for all of this was the postwar period first of genocide denial, then of a cynical use of Jews to excuse European citizens and their governments for political ends.
Also the erroneous notion that each Jew must be a zionist, and or have ties to Israel. In short, jews aren't seen as European citizens, but as potential Israelis only.

Because of deep inter-generational trauma, experiences of genocide trauma right at the dinner table in families and the aftermath of that in lives of people living now, the 3rd or 4th generation. But most of all, the constant re-traumatization by Jewish organizations and the non-Jews whose interests those organizations represent. You have to remind yourself that the entire present day Jewish organizational structure was imposed by non-Jews so that rabbis could be informers to the government.
Never have European governments fully acknowledged their role in the aftermath of the Shoah.

there is tech that uses camera glasses to sonify a camera view of surroundings. Training in the sonic pattern adapts activity in the visual cortex to vOICeś auditory input. I use vOICe sideloaded on old Vuzix Blade 2 glasses. Sadly, Meta locks off its camera function so it can't be used with vOICe, but any android based hardware could.
That aside. The discussion about what access the glasses offer is a wrong one. Because it's only about how much the blind person is helped by it. But all too often, the accessibility it offers points to a deficit in offering basic acces by Sighted People TM. My best example is functionality in AI to specifically recognize whether a pedestrian light is green. so you can know without being told (unreliable and unsafe) by a sighted someone that the light is green.
However
All this points to is a failure of sighted society to make its pedestrian lights accessible to blind people. E.g. where i live, I don't need such access, because pedestrian lights are generally audible. "AI" gives sighted people an excuse to not have to change anything about their often dismal behaviour towards blind people in particular and all disabled people in general. Cultural attitudes towards blind people have deep roots.

It took me 5 bloody minutes to get to the salient report to fact check this. It is you who comes to this with far reaching and wholly fictional assumptions about Palestinian life in Gaza, basically branding all of Palestinians "on here" scammers if they communicate through internet.
Again I point to https://www.etcluster.org/document/ltc-palestine-telecoms-area-situation-report-july-2026
Also there's a genocide going on.

2026-08-13 09:45:46 UTC

- reply

Exactly. Also there is https://cripsforesimsforgaza.org/ for badly needed e-sim donations. Also: https://www.etcluster.org/document/ltc-palestine-telecoms-area-situation-report-july-2026 and from that (July 2026)
"Internet connectivity across Gaza remained fragile but generally stable during July, supported by continued coordination between LTC Telecoms, humanitarian partners, and telecommunications operators. However, restrictions affecting the approval and entry of ICT equipment, spare parts, consumables, and telecommunications infrastructure continued to constrain efforts to sustain and expand connectivity services across the Gaza Strip"
I really hope that this can persuade leftists to drop this kind of anti-Palestinian "scammer" narrative. And amend this in the spaces where they propagated this.

Because you write as if judaism hasn' t happened. This is a common anti-judaic stance for post-Christians who take some sentences from Torah and infer from that all kinds of things about present day Jews. It' s the same as the people who go "Mohamed was a pedophile" based on their reading of some verses from Qoran that are used again and again. So it is with your "genocide verses".

2025-09-06 10:39:50 UTC

- reply

All these are extensively discussed in Gemara, and that's a tradition that began pre CE already. None of these texts are invitations to genocide as something INHERENT in "Jewish texts" no matter your post-Christian hot takes. I take these to be essentially anti-judaic.

Palestinians never had the right to exist. That is: the indigenous population of Palestine was systematically removed from Israel' s territory, its villages and economy destroyed, deported and murdered, especially children, by the state and Jewish citizens of Israel. but the moral stain is on judaism only because zionists will it so by entirely conflating jews and the present state of Israel. So much so that non-jews too have come to believe that there is an unbreakable bond between jews and the state of Israel. But there isn't. I'm a Dutch jew, but this stance sees me not as a citizen of the Netherlands, as a Dutch jew, but merely as a latent Israeli, because "that is where the jews belong". That is a lie, though.

I'm Jewish and anti-zionist from a long hasidic family tradition, and I would put to you that it does conflate jewishness with "Israel". jammer, want de inname van jouw en mijn energiebelasting is al lang richting Shell gesluisd.

for disabled people there never will be any meaningful safeguards, sadly. Elderly: same. I'm in NL, where legislation around assisted dying is much more permissive. Here, "versterving" is often the dominant protocol in end of life situations, without patients themselves or their relations having much say in the matter.

people who are disabled and "free" are coerced all the time. With the notion we're a costly financial burden.
