Omg!! 😃
I finally took first place in the overall classification! I’ve finished second several times before, but being the champion was SO delicious. 😃 The feeling of everyone waiting for you and watching you cross the finish line is incredible.
It was a 7 km trail race in Cunda Island, Turkey. 🏃🏻‍♀️
In the afternoon, I also swam 1 km in 26 minutes, finishing second in the combined classification with my two results. 🏊🏻‍♀️
What a day!

Hi guys! 👋🏻
Have I mentioned that I started swimming? I’ve been swimming for one month now, and the training is going well. 🏊🏻‍♀️
On September 19th, there’s a race called Ultimade Cunda, consisting of a 7 km trail run and a 1 km swim. There’s also a combined ranking for the running + swimming results. There are no age groups, so I’m aiming for a top 3 spot in the overall combined classification. 🥇🥈🥉
After this race, I’m quitting swimming until next summer lol. 😂
How about you? Did you run, swim, or work out today?

@npub1ryc…pr3m told me something would happen on August 6th and that I shouldn’t stay at home that day, based on my birth chart. Appx. 4 months ago.
I woke up at 4 a.m. I swam, went to school, then went to İzmir to pick up my passport from the visa center. (Greece gave me a 10-day visa, btw 💔)
Then I randomly ran into a race organizer. I went back to my city. It had already been such a long day, and just when I thought, “Okay, I’m finally going home. I’m exhausted,” I got into a car accident.
The police officer who came to the accident scene had also worked in Hakkari at the same time as me during our compulsory service.
So, at the end of the day:
🏊‍♀️Trained arms
🇬🇷 10-day visa??
🚗 Car accident
🚫 No car for 10 days
👮‍♂️ The police officer had also worked in Hakkari at the same time as me.
Astrology is real.

Yesterday, I had a car accident, by the way. The light was green for me, so I was driving in my lane and another car ran a red light and hit me. Thankfully, everyone was okay. But I felt really upset.
The police came and took his license away for two months. He was only 22, and I know he didn’t do it intentionally. I forgive him, but now I don’t have a car for about 10 days. It’s going to be hard to get to the track, the gym, and the swimming pool.
I’m trying to take this accident as a message from God. I know I had absolutely no fault, but I could have been the one who ran a red light accidentally. God, it’s so hard to avoid accidents completely. I need to be even more careful from now on.
The car hit the wheel, but what if it had hit the door instead? My arm could have been broken. I’m still in shock.

Hi guys!
I’m keeping my training at the same pace. Last week, I ran, swam, and did some strength training. On Sunday, I took a little break and went to the seaside, but the sea was cold and the weather was windy. And somehow, I caught a cold 🥴🤢 Yes, in summer! :(
That’s why I missed one running session and one swimming session this week.

Hi guys!!! I am back 🫶
After a year, I’m now a 39K finisher and have finally run a sub-45-minute 10K! I’ve also been swimming for two weeks (lol) and doing strength training for the past two months.
Wow… I’ve missed you all! 🤍

Hello 👋
Yesterday, I ran my target race at Frig Valley. I started fast, took 3rd place until 8th kilometer. Then, at a course split, I took the wrong path ended up running about 800 meters before realizing something was off. I turned back, but by then I had lost my position in the general classification.
I felt dissapointed, but I told myself: “Okay Aylin you are not 3rd anymore and you don’t know how manny people runners have passed you. Just focused on what you can do from here.”
For ahead, I sported a woman runner. She was strong, never walking on the hills. I thought “She might be in my agr group-this could be for 3rd place!” I pushed hard to catch her, even on the rocky valley terrain. After three tough kilometers, I finally passed her.
I finished fast and strong, taking 7th place overall and 2nd place in my age group.
I am happy with the result. You can’t become a better athlete without experiencing mistakes like this. I have taken my lessons.

The founder of our country, Atatürk, once said: there are no hopeless situation, there are only hopeless people. I have never lost my hope. I have never lost my hope too

I am incredibly tired of the current situation in country. I might even be experiencing a mild depression because of it.
But we have such a beautiful geography 🥹
I just want to hold on tightly to my country and say that these hard days will pass 😪

In Turkish we say, “You need to eat 40 ovens of bread” Now I am at that point lol😃
But I want to run 35K trail running at the end of the July 🥹

Before the race, I was telling my friend, “I don’t want to run. I’ll probably jog at 5:30–6:00 pace.”
I still can’t believe it. What a race!
