Maybe it's a tad controversial opinion, but I do think having a dock would make GNOME so much more newcomer-friendly.
Basically number 1 complaint I hear is "Wait, where is the dock?", and being real, that was also my complaint when I tried GNOME a couple of times in the past. Lack of dock really throws people off.
Most people either end up downloading dash2dock themselves or they use distro that downloads this extension OOTB, and IMHO it isn't a great experience (going slightly off topic, I think dock!ng is better, although it could handle fullscreen better).
Also, dock, at least in my opinion, really improves quickly switching between windows using mouse.

1. That's a cute kitty :3
2. If you intend on rescuing him, I recommend to capture him ASAP and get him to vet.
If you need help with the little fella, I have some experience with rescuing strays, and will be more than happy to help

It's slightly more sad.
So there was this guy — Fabsol. He was a complete ass, but also mod's creator and lead dev. In 2025 he was finally kicked out, due to first being a transphobe, and then his discord server leaked out. Next guy chosen as a lead dev was Ozzatron. He was kinda a "parental figure", everyone trusted him. But recently it turned out he was an owner in THE EXACT SAME DISCORD SERVER. And it turned out he was the person who instigated a split in the community back in 2022 (where 22 developers were effectively bullied out of community). Fabsol leaving gave everyone hope, but Ozzy took it all away. With trust shattered, the development concluded. Partially a shame, since this mod really got a great future, but also a good thing. I'm honestly hopeful for Terarria's modding scene for once.

You need to have UnifiedPush distributor installed first things first. Right only only KDE has one.

This person is obsessed and attributes all GNOME contributors to some sort of harassment against GrapheneOS. Which, AFAIK from asking relevant people, did not even happened. There were also no reports to our CoCC mentioning GrapheneOS. They just made it all up.

every time GrapheneOS posts about something it's the most random and weird thing. They literally made the statement saying how people can't stand different opinion.
But sure, that's harassment. Certainly what is not a harassment is constantly talking how other FLOSS projects have a harassment campaign around you, while refusing to show even one mastodon link.
I asked multiple GNOME contributors about those "harassment campaign" claims and they told me they have no idea what GrapheneOS is talking about.

You're constantly saying that there's some sort of harassment campaign against you and that every GNOME and PostmarketOS project member is out there to get you. And when asked about *any* kind of proof you're just repeating what you're saying.
If it's on Mastodon, then it's public, if you have it around can you just link it here?
And I never even saw any negative mention about GrapheneOS from any other GNOME contributor. When GrapheneOS was mentioned at all it was either in a positive way or just mentioned in the passing about how you do things in your OS. Even here you just randomly said that "GNOME doesn't oppose authoritarianism", which was beyond random and I don't even understand where it came from.

That's why our community members are often leftists who are very vocal about being anti-authoritarism. I'm sure what you're saying makes sense

here's the problem, where did this harassment even occured? I asked several people about it in the past and I never heard any answer. I heard from you that GNOME and PostmarketOS community members were part of harassment campaign against you and I couldn't even find anything about it, aside from your own words.
Similar thing with Louis Rossman. I can't stand the guy, but when it comes to that situation you described i quite literally couldn't find any other information about it.
If you can, could you mention to me in private message who harassed you? We ban all channers, so let's just say im deeply surprised to hear that such person/people contribute to GNOME.
And about QubesOS, I learned about it from your post here.

So first of all, I do understand where you are coming from, as someone who is also deeply involved with (another) FLOSS project.
When the Framework news broke in, GNOME Foundation, after consulting with community members and reaching out to Framework itself, decided to stop accepting donations from them. And even several months after the whole ordeal, when Framework contacted us again, they were rejected again.
It's not black and white game, but in certain cases this choice is the best thing to do, even for projects that depend on donations.

Thats the reaction of GrapheneOS to Mullvad, a company that is supporting them, donating hundreds of thousands of € to alt right party:
