That sounds like a pretty slimy extortion technique. Your director has been reading Art of The Deal.

Bought my Pixel 6a for £90 second hand, paid in cash. Easy.

A very poor straw man. You use other people's ISPs when you stay at friends, relatives, hospitals, and coffee shops.
"Communism" to you is a homeowner buying the ISP and the lodger using it..
Just say you lost the argument and move on. You'd lose less face.

"The internet is not crypto. the internet is Bitcoin" -- Sorry but this is just cultish talk. We saw what happened to MySpace, Nokia, and the horse & cart. Technology always gets surpassed. What happens to Bitcoin then?

Regardless of the latest drop, I don't think Bitcoin is the future. It is a technology which will be made antiqued by the next generation of money.

Cake Wallet's swap feature is dangerous to use as long as they use KYC middlemen. You could lose:
(a) all your money
(b) all your privacy
even (c) both...
... if those middlemen deem your exchange "suspicious".
Those middlemen include:
ChangeNow
Exolix
LetsExchange
StealthEx
Pretty much all of them, basically.
Probably best not to use Cake Wallet for swaps, and rely on strictly no KYC swap platforms like EigenWallet, Bisq and Haveno.
Thoughts, @nprofile…0hur ? Maybe take this feature out until safety from KYC is assured.
