Giving a talk in a couple weeks and soliciting advice:
How would you help create community food resilience for the ongoing climate/economic emergencies?
I have my own theories, but want to hear fedi's take on the subject.

I'm wrapping up a six month contract at a fintech firm modernizing e-commerce plugins for #Shopify, WooCommerce/ #Wordpress, and #Magento and I'm looking for the next job.
I have 10+ years of front end development building successful e-commerce sites in #php, #react, #vue and #node.
Looking for either full time or contract work. #remote is great but so is in-office in #nashville.

Damage done by leaky alkaline batteries *may* be repairable if it only leaked on the battery contacts.
Get some q-tips and vinegar (I have some industrial strength white vinegar that I use for this) and use them to gently clean off the alkaline leakage. You’ll see/hear it bubble when the vinegar mixes with it.

Do you have a parts list for these kits? A local group has expressed interest and I’ve been trying to figure out a decently easy kit we can do as a group.

Talked to a guy on Orkney about this years ago and he insisted they would all die. His primary concern was the high winter winds.
If they were planted in places protected from the winds it might work. IIRC there is one remaining forest on the mainland, so with a big planting that may be expanded.
