I definitely agree that a peaceful civilization would be better. It's just a question if that isn't even a contradiction in terms. Can you even have a peaceful civilization?
The Amish are a culture a people but I don't know if you could call it a civilization. Same with the other groups you mentioned afaik.
"Civilization is a complex, large-scale society defined by advanced urban development, social stratification, specialized labor, and symbolic communication systems like writing."
Are there any pacifist groups that have ever actually met the definition of a civilization? And if you separate pragmatism from idealism then does that mean a pacifist could be violent?

I want Bitcoin nodes to be on little insect size drones that have little solar panels on their backs and live in the trees.
Let's get serious about locking in the new golden age for humanity.

We got into Bitcoin to get away from captured Fiat corporations like Bitcoin Core.

In the Bible, Israel is told by God that only God should be king. However, in their idolatry they demanded a human king and human masters. There was no confusion about whether or not they would be getting what they deserved.

It inspires a lot of hope for bitcoin, given the light it sheds on the Core vs. BIP110 debate

Actually there may be a way to verify Monero's privacy failures, but I don't care to look up the research again.

I've actually heard stories of people/states defeating Monero's privacy and uncovering users. No way to verify, because it's opaque. Kinda like buying a random brown bag from a homeless person.
And money that isn't a good store of value will fail as money. That's a big part of its job. If you have to exchange for each use, that often destroys privacy.

And what would you do with the money except have more hollow fake experiences with hollow fake people that will leave you nothing but bothered and fatigued and unfulfilled in the end?
