📚 Crypto Trading Actions: Long vs. Short 📈📉
Ever heard traders say they're going long or going short? Here's an easy way to understand it.
📈 Long (Spot Trading)
Mark believes a coin's price will go up. He buys it at $100. A few days later, the price reaches $120, so he sells it and makes a $20 profit.
👉 Long = Buy low, sell high.
📉 Short
Sarah believes a coin's price will go down. She opens a short position when the coin is $100. Later, the price drops to $80, so she closes the trade and earns a $20 profit from the price decline.
👉 Short = Profit when the price goes down.
💡 Lesson
📈 Long if you think the price will rise.
📉 Short if you think the price will fall.
Both strategies can be profitable, but always trade with a plan and manage your risk. 💚
