Banned for 74 years (!) for offering constructive criticism to another #lemmy user about their over-use of em-dashes -- wtf is going on lol
I've never had any other "sock puppet" accounts and [this](https://lemmy.world/modlog?page=1&actionType=All&userId=3311143) is my modlog

It's insane that a new HP printer is cheaper than buying a replacement ink cart

The new Donkey Kong game is as good as BOTW. Have given it some thought and left the game to digest - keep coming to the same conclusion that it's a masterpiece.

Got the bad ending in Witcher 3 after not letting the Witcher’s adopted daughter trash an elf’s house and I’m still salty about it

Got it today - needs to go to the framers now. It looks better IRL than their sample scans.

A few defects make it somewhat affordable... Couldn't resist getting it since I like his unique style.

Re: the proposed beer garden smoking ban:
There is the famous _Yes, Minister_ argument about smokers being a net postitive for the NHS given that they are likely to die younger of smoking related diseases instead of requiring expensive care for more complex diseases later in life.
A study in Finland found that each smoker contributed a net positive of 133,000 euros to their health system by dying younger (on average). Source: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23233699/

Obviously this is next level awful but the UK has some insane social media laws. There was a woman arrested the other day for posting misformation and, while I disagree with her politics, I don't think it should be illegal to be a moron.
