New type of model. It’s extremely fast, extremely cheap and doesn’t hallucinate.
You can run it in your harness with your favorite llm and it’ll improve the speed and reliability while reducing costs of what you’re doing.
People are also using Jev to be the brains of NPC’s of video game characters and run through games like Mario and Doom.
It’s pretty legit for controlling your browser via voice (makes sense because it’s fast and cheap)
There are already cloned open source versions that you can run locally.

2026-09-23 22:35:00 UTC

Man, remember when we didn’t even have harnesses?
Now we have meta harnesses with deepseek and Jev running agent swarms.
Everyone’s going to have a team of agents proactively doing things on the internet for them. For 20 bucks a month.

2026-09-23 22:31:26 UTC

In less than 7 days Anthropic and Open AI will come out with their own version of Jev.

I’m fine tuning a cheap local model on my Mac mini by throwing it my 2nd brain as a dataset.
Plan on using it with Hermes on the mini
I’m sticking with Herdr as the meta harness and using it with Claude code and Hermes.
Running 7 specialized sub agents pointed to my 2nd brain with the orchestrator being an agent with Opus.
Using PPQ for access to different models when needed.
Running ghostty and mix for a schedule/to do list pane and cli music player which streams music from my mini which was downloaded from YouTube by my Hermes agent.
