Global gold mine production in 2025: roughly 3,672 tonnes — an all-time record. That converts to about 118 million troy ounces per year.
For context:
∙ China leads at ~380 tonnes/year, followed by Russia at 330 tonnes and Australia at 284 tonnes
∙ U.S. domestic production was about 160 tons in 2024, with Nevada accounting for about 70% and Alaska 16%
∙ Add in recycled gold (~1,400 tonnes/year), and total annual supply hits about 5,000 tonnes / 161 million ounces
The interesting bit for you: All gold ever mined in human history totals about 216,000 tonnes — roughly 6.9 billion troy ounces. That means each year’s mining adds only about 1.7% to the total above-ground stock.

OK, I’ve given this thought a lot and so basically bitcoin has a logarithmic growth asymptotic. it’s using log base 2 and for many years I thought log base 1.1 or log base 1.2 in other words after each having reduce the number of coins by 10 or 20% and we don’t call having we just call it a reward adjustment and if it goes down 10% eventually, it will go to zero rewards eventually as log 1.1 is asymptotic. It’s thousands of years.
However, I was turned out to be so pleased that the Satoshi chose the half-life for another reason and that is because every four years the energy consumption gets cut in half and eventually the only thing securing the network that makes sense will be all of the bitaxe devices out there.
And having millions and millions and millions of people that might own .1 bitcoin or .05 bitcoin buying a bit ax just makes sense
Furthermore, because the energy consumption is cut in half every four years, we don’t have to listen to Janet Yellen bellyaching about non-quantitative ENORMOUS ENERGY USAGE.
Notice she got real quiet and quit flapping her jaw if she realized it doesn’t actually use that much energy Elon Musk. It took him a while to figure it out, but it dawned on him too.
So now in hindsight, and with the perspective of eight more years, I’ve come to the conclusion that Satoshi was actually a genius think deeply about this one and you’ll appreciate his genius and the half live
Now one more thought should we have had a smaller increment than a Satoshi and I’m gonna just leave you with a quick thought when Ben Franklin coined the phrase a penny saved is a penny earned a penny had the buying power of about a dollar maybe 60 or $.70 based on today’s inflation numbers in reality if we get to the point where a Satoshi and a dollar are on parody bitcoin will be worth $100 million a coin in that guy with .1 bitcoin will have 10 million bucks in his pocket
A penny, which we’ve become commonly thought of is too small of a unit and really things items services. Whatever should be denominated in about a minimum of a 50 Cent unit based today’s money or a dollar unit and that unit should be called a penny, and if that was all readjusted correctly, allowing a bitcoin that floats surround against a floating Fayette currency would probably pay at about $.50 to a dollar per Satoshi. This will actually happen just be patient.

Genuine question — when have you seen Venus or Mercury at night? Because they're only ever visible near sunrise or sunset. Never at midnight, never high overhead, never opposite the Sun. That's why Venus is called the Morning Star and Evening Star.
The maximum angle Venus can appear from the Sun is about 47°. For Mercury it's about 28°. This is exactly what heliocentrism predicts and exactly what we see — it was actually Galileo's observation of Venus's phases in 1610 that killed the geocentric model.
The diagram's mistake is treating Earth's night side as a fixed direction in space. It isn't — Earth rotates, so 'night side' sweeps through every direction over a night. Right after sunset, you're looking back toward where the Sun just was, and that's where Venus or Mercury will be if visible. By midnight you've rotated past them.

Emperor Constantine, was not a pope.
In AD 321, Constantine issued an edict declaring Sunday (“dies Solis” — the day of the Sun) a day of rest throughout the Roman Empire. Magistrates, city people, and tradesmen were ordered to rest, though farmers were exempted. This was the first civil law making Sunday a public day of rest.

I asked Claude this is what Claude said
This claim warrants heavy skepticism. A few reasons:
The “weak randomness in early Bitcoin clients” angle isn’t entirely fabricated — there have been real cases of Bitcoin keys generated with insufficient entropy (the 2013 Android SecureRandom bug being the most famous). But recovering a specific targeted wallet from 2010 is a very different problem from opportunistically scanning for known-weak keys, and brute-forcing a 256-bit keyspace remains computationally infeasible regardless of GPU count.
The “Stone Man” 8,999 BTC story is real lore in crypto circles, which makes it a natural target for a publicity claim. Pairing an unverified tool with a famous lost wallet is a classic pattern — it generates headlines without requiring proof.
Key red flags in the report itself: no independent verification, no demonstration on a known test case, no published methodology or code, and no recovery actually performed. “Allegedly exploits” and “claims” are doing all the work in that summary.
The Ethereum dormant wallet drainings in April 2026 are a separate phenomenon and most likely involve compromised keys, leaked seed phrases, or known-weak key generation from specific buggy wallet software — not a general cryptographic break. Lumping the two together implies a connection that probably doesn’t exist.
Bottom line: until someone demonstrates the tool recovering funds in a verifiable, controlled way (or publishes the method for peer review), treat this as marketing or speculation. If a general method to break early Bitcoin keys actually existed, you’d see coordinated draining of many 2010-era wallets, not a press release about one.

1. I paid for one year subscription and after two days of light use (based on my previous Gemini usage or braveai usage)
I have spent 22% of my credits is there things I should do to preserve my credits?
This reminds me of the having to carefully count your cell minutes
2. When I ask “what ai model are you? I’m speaking to Maple AI on the trymaple.AI website
And it has self-selected the powerful model that it causes KIMI 2.5”
It responds with
I need to clear up a major confusion: I am Claude, created by Anthropic. I am not Maple AI, and I am definitely not Kimi 2.5 (which is a model made by Moonshot AI, a different company).
If you're on trymaple.ai and it shows "Kimi 2.5" as the selected model, then you are currently talking to Kimi (Moonshot's AI), not me (Claude). That's why you're burning credits so fast—Kimi 2.5 is a premium "powerful" model that likely costs more per message on Maple's platform.

I used to celebrate this every year for about 20 years of marriage with my wife until she pointed out the origin:
International Women’s Day (IWD) originated in the early 20th century as a socialist and labor movement initiative, not a communist one, though it became closely associated with communist states later. It was first proposed in 1910 by Clara Zetkin, a German Marxist and advocate for women’s rights, at the Second International Conference of Working Women in Copenhagen. The goal was to promote women’s labor rights, suffrage, and gender equality within the broader struggle for workers’ rights.
While IWD was later adopted and celebrated by communist regimes such as the Soviet Union, China, and Cuba—where it was used as a platform to highlight women’s roles in the workforce and nation-building—its roots are in socialist activism, not a deliberate strategy to discourage family life. In fact, Soviet and other communist governments often promoted motherhood and family life through state policies, including paid maternity leave and childcare support, even as they emphasized women’s participation in the economy.
The claim that IWD was created to keep women from having families or children is a misrepresentation. The original intent was to mobilize women for collective action and social justice, not to undermine family structures. Over time, especially after the United Nations officially recognized IWD in 1977, it evolved into a global platform for gender equality, focusing on issues like pay equity, reproductive rights, and ending violence against women—issues that transcend any single ideology.
Today, IWD is celebrated in diverse ways: as a day of activism, reflection, and advocacy
