Fair enough, I do think Superman is generally a "better" guy than Batman with his deeds in ways

2026-02-08 01:29:21 UTC

Is it dumb to put politics in just the existence of superheroes? I don't think so, you can make great stories with that

2026-02-08 01:26:30 UTC

- reply

Tbh Superman can be anything though at this point, I think it's interesting though to see what versions we get of him, like he's depicted as a communist in superman red sun, but in the dark knight returns he's depicted as a fascist working with Ronald Regan

2026-02-08 01:23:18 UTC

- reply

I think more though that Superman is the fascist

2026-02-08 00:46:38 UTC

There's a popular question of if Batman is a fascist

Maybe, I'll have to see honestly or know which games don't reveal my usernames or such lol

2026-02-01 23:28:18 UTC

- reply

Like I wish these games didn't show your account name like say for example doom the dark ages showing my Bethesda username or such, or getting a steam notification that one of my friends is playing and then someone searching them up and linking them to me, even if I can disable the notifications it's still a worry

2026-02-01 23:26:38 UTC

- reply

My major worry is mainly steam itself and games that show your accounts

2026-02-01 23:24:50 UTC

also when it comes to modern games, its more so they on purpose rush or rather do the bare minimum (and sometimes less) for a game and just give the extra content (that most of the time should not be extra) at a later point, but majoras mask isnt once made to be like that and is a full fledged game and doesnt have a benefit or need of an update, that's why the 3DS remake failed

2026-01-31 07:45:48 UTC

- reply

Because a lot of its core ideas and design came from the fact they were in a sort of tight deadline, which made the game very unique and stand out from the rest of the zelda games, and given that shorter time they did less dungeons overall, but made each dungeon way more unique and special, giving them more overall charm and stand each from each other than what a standard 7-8 dungeons would be in most zelda games

I always felt this, I never fully understood the whole idea that people had that censorship or restraints was necessarily always bad (not in the context of free speech tho) since I feel like some things were made better to bypass said restraints or issues, Majora's Mask was a game very limited in time which reused a lot of things from Ocarina of Time, and in the end it became a fantastic game that I hold dearly

2026-01-31 06:01:46 UTC

Random question but do you believe that sometimes censorship or restraints/time restraints actually makes some things better?

2026-01-29 15:10:22 UTC

Ever since I left, broken up with Zoocat even though that's never officially been said or confirmed or such but it's obvious, despite me trying to reach out when I left, and then Spags views on me changed seemingly during that time also, and now fae doesn't want to be around me anymore and I'm sorry, Natalie is doing the bullshit she's doing right now and I'm so close to breaking up with her if she doesn't stop because it's starting to affect me as well, let's see oh yeah as a result of stuff before feral bond defed this instance, and honestly I'm just so tired today is so tiresome
