Buy a HWW with lightning, use a fresh email and fake name.
3 days later: FedEx has your parcel and needs you to pay custom duties with a credit card.
FedEx and DHL probably have one of the most comprehensive Bitcoiner databases.

I often try to think about business ideas, and then struggle to land on anything that others aren't already doing.
But then I watch a TV show on Channel 4 and there are ads for 7 different online gambling apps.
Uniqueness is clearly not necessary for being an entrepreneur!

Am seeing a lot of complicated recommendations for how to get a new temp wallet, or advice to move to an exchange 🙃
@nprofile…83ak is one of the OG open source bitcoin-only mobile wallets. You can even add dice rolls or coin flips. 🎲🪙

Damn. Probably Odell's worst take. I can see where he's coming from in terms of user error, but he massively underestimated Coinkite risk. I'm sure he's sorry about that advice and will be taking this situation very hard.

Tfw you haven't had your node online for a while so you're waiting for the blockchain to sync to find out if you're poor or not

Oh I'm just being boring and sensible by proposing something ultra retarded. CGT should be 0%. It's a tax on savings.
They always make it sound like billionaires are the only ones with savings. They'll probably find a way around it and the rest of us will be paying CGT on assets that went up in $, but went down in real value.

Yep, they'll find a way to bring it back in. Some new crisis will "necessitate" it.

Finally, the AI productivity gains we've been promised

I want open source models to win, but worth being realistic. Today the US closed frontier models are MUCH better when looking at more realistic metrics like task time horizon.
For example, while other benchmarks show Kimi K2 and Opus 4.5 (both released November 2025) as being quite close on some indexes, the task length they can complete correctly 50% of the time is very different. 1 hour for Kimi, but 5 hours for Opus.
Some of this may be due to better harnesses for the US closed models, but that's material edge.

Be an AI company.
Talk up the risks of AI for unemployment.
Make the government panic.
Present a solution: Government buys you for trillions and distributes shares as "universal basic capital" (while also facilitating fraud at a scale never seen before).
Be super rich.
