Democracy is now just the word for “only leftists in power”. Funny how every time one of these globalist Marxist loses, the line parroted from the corporate press is always “democracy at risk” or “take back our democracy”

Anyone else think it’s a bit of suspicious coincidence that a week after France’s bond market starts to implode and yields spike, riots seem to break out? Is someone pushing a narrative, instigating violence, and using useful idiots in the streets for a debt jubilee or something? Wouldn’t bet against it

Essentially yes haha except the book I referenced the Eugenicists are actually the shadowy British government/banking/warfare class whose centuries old foreign policy strategy is akin to “putting red ants and black ants in a jar and shaking it to let them fight amongst themselves”

Have you read the book “How the British Invented Communism (And Blamed It On The Jews” ? I thought it was fairly compelling and an interesting perspective that I hadn’t considered before. The forces behind the scenes aren’t usually ever mentioned

The wife and I closed on our first house today. I drove away from the property tonight thinking “damn, I own this” (yes, I know technically I pay property taxes forever so it’s not true ownership). But it’s a feeling I’ve never had before and honestly pretty surreal. It gives a sense of pride and desire to improve the property for our future family. It will become a place where memories are made.

The topic du jour of the 24 hour outrage cycle is that the majority of boomers in some poll responded that they would favor higher taxes on younger workers (GenZ/Millenials/GenX) to fund the shortfall in Social Security.
The signal here (in my opinion) is a reiteration of what anyone with common sense already knows. There is no political or public will for cutting government spending and promised benefits. The debts will be paid in devalued currency. Plan accordingly.
Now back to posting about flowers and plants 😅

The financial repression that is taking place to bring down debt:GDP ratios globally will manifest as deteriorating quality and satisfaction with pensions and insurance company services. They will be mandated to buy the bonds and take the hit. To compensate they will go further on the risk curve and become more fragile than ever.

Listened to Joel Salatin on a YouTube show, and he mentions that 50% of corn grown in the US is for ethanol production, 50% of soybeans are exported, and 50% of alfalfa feeds Japanese and Saudi racehorses. Interesting to think about while going to the grocery store and getting sticker shock. Our government subsidizes a subpar, shitty alternative fuel rather than healthy foods we can eat.

I don’t think anything forces wealth into bitcoin per se, it’s a permissionless protocol, non coercive by nature. The better question would be why would someone need bitcoin?Predatory governments, collapses in trust, a police state, complete anarchy with widespread violence and coercion like pre-Bukele El Salvador, Weimer-esque hyperinflations. Being able to take your life’s earnings anywhere in the world in your head is highly valuable.
I would expect the central banking cartel, who benefit the most from seniorage, would be the last group to voluntarily adopt proof of work permissionless money. Their cronies can play the same casino games in the short term, but the games come to an end over time.
And granted, a lot of us are from America or the first world, we don’t need bitcoin to save our families from starvation. We use it to to defend our wages and savings from debasement. But its properties are valuable, and without scarcity I don’t think it has the same value.

If the flock cameras are truly a net benefit, we should see our insurance rates marginally decline due to more efficient criminal control. But if it’s all for surveillance, the status quo will continue, higher insurance, more fines, and less freedom.

Suddenly my bitcoin news feed is filled with voices from the ether saying bitcoin is now changed and has failed. Similar to “2 weeks to flatten the curve”, I’ll stay skeptical of sudden propaganda meant to divide and fear monger. Stacking sats every week #bitcoin

I see, how tragic and infuriating that must be. Simply because the value of the dollar is debased and government chicanery imposes laws that leave no good options, they are ousted from their homes. Words don’t suffice to describe how evil and despotic that is. Some (including me) would say this is on purpose and a sinister plot to impose a neo-feudal model of society. These commies have gone too far

Something about Nostr feels more sincere than other social networks. Maybe it’s the fact that most interactions are with strangers, yet many of these strangers share some common core beliefs and values. Who can say, but I’ve sure gotten a lot of insight from other accounts, particularly the homestead community. I can’t say I get this same kind of education from another platform anywhere else
