Dude, I think there's nothing I can add.
Good luck with your new #AI-proxied overlords! 😉

Well, for sure one of us lack knowledge on the topic, while the other knows [since years](https://www.princeton.edu/~wbialek/rome/refs/shannon_51.pdf ) that [Language Modelling Is Compression](https://arxiv.org/pdf/2309.10668 ).
But to claim I'm "factually wrong", you should be able to prove easily with **facts** that there was no sample in the "training" data of #Claude associating a similar post-it near a doorbell to a similar description.
Can you?
If you can not, consider you might lack understanding of the very language you use, not just language models. In fact, [a recent study on a large population of kids](https://cepr.org/publications/dp21577 ) shows a serious degradation in cognitive ability of those using "Generative AI". Adults work the same.

If I remember corectly, #NetBSD allows running its filesystem drivers in userspace for easier debugging.
(also, obviously, #GNU/#Hurd does that).
As for performance, I keep reading this about microkernel penality, but I can't find any actual measure. How slow is "slow" in this context? I'd bet a coffee the tradeoff might be acceptable in several usage contexts.
