Stablecoins on Bitcoin are just going to perpetuate the state controlled economic cycles as described by Rothbard

BTC and XBT split. The loudest voices are those enabled by social media algorithms. Most of them indirectly sponsored or directly involved with intelligence or special groups. None of them mention the biggest threat to Bitcoin which is the capture by the intelligence community and special groups. What a shit show.

I sort of figured Bitcoin is a free mans game. So you have the top 1% benefiting from fiat and you have another 1% on the other end striving for freedom and sovereignty. The fight is between these 2 groups because the mass in the middle don't really give a f.

2026-10-23 10:21:37 UTC

Reminder that BTC is a CBDC in Bitcoins clothing. Swapping 7 central bank governors for 5 CEOs of controlling mining pools to decide policy is not decentralisation. XBT is the real Bitcoin.

Step 1: Larry Fink works on creating the mortgage backed securities
Step 2: as a result housing market collapses, financial crisis ensues and he sits at the table where decisions are made
Step 3: QE1, QE2 and then QE Infinity follow making BlackRock grow massive as a result and public loosing trust in traditional finance
Step 4: release Bitcoin, activate those opposing traditional finance, use their energy to build goodwill for Bitcoin later to be shifted into CBDC
Step 5: Shift BTC into CBDC, put stablecoins on Statecoin infrastructure, get on board of World Economic Forum
Step 6: tokenise everything to complete the digital prison project
Anything important I forgot to add on Larry Finks career notes?

He may have been one of them all along and they all knew where they wanted to take this.
They just needed to activate the opposition to the traditional monetary system and then harvest their energy for marketing their CBDC as freedom tech. Normal people who have heard about Bitcoin from the brightest people in their network would onboard themselves in the end thinking their brightest peers approve. Meanwhile true Bitcoiners continue on blake2b. I wouldn't write such scenario off.

2026-10-10 10:37:57 UTC

REALITY CHECK: Normal people have no idea Bitcoin split in 2 on 8 august because Bitcoin is not a normal peoples game. Its a free/sovereign people game. Normal people have slave mindset and don't care about transferring value over time. They care about consumption.

BTC can now only succeed at transitioning to a CBDC. You can either learn that through looking into history and figuring out how all systems get coopted by the same group or you can learn it the hard way once its too late and you've lost time you could have spent building on top of something valuable. Your choice. Noones forcing you to use XBT.

I think I agree. Here's what the hashers did though. Core increased the op_return. Clearly not good for Bitcoin. Hashers implemented it. Thats a work of a fairly small network of individuals. Thousand of nodes then request to roll it back + minimise the non financial data. Hashers deny that. So if the changes in consensus are dependent on centralised miners permission then Bitcoin is not really permissionless or decentralised. And if the hashsers are happy to have high op_return which is causing problems for nodes, the nodes have the right to find new hashers which align with the wishes of these nodes. And that's what is happening.

2026-08-28 11:24:22 UTC

- reply

The whole idea of Bitcoin is ideologically motivated. So if the miners pretend its all about fees for them then they are simply lying. Bitcoin has attracted some of the smartest and most clued up people on the planet. Any claims they may make of not understanding the ideological motives are just a fascade at best.

2026-08-28 10:41:39 UTC

How can you say miners had no incentive to signal bip 110 😂. The incentives were very clear. Mine for a decentralised Bitcoin chain with reduced attack vectors to support the sound money project or mine for a state chain that can do whatever it wants with it thanks to controllable 3rd parties influence Bitcoin was meant to eliminate. Miners don't want Bitcoin without controllable 3rd parties so they chose latter.

2026-08-27 19:50:04 UTC

Obviously core chain is an attack on Bitcoin. I may be wrong but when I listened to it I actually thought he refused to get on their side and was challenging the immutably of the protocol if core can just change the rules with no accountability to nodes. Highly doubt exchanges would give us the opportunity to buy for $5 per 1BTC Bip110. All bought bip110 coin would go straight into self custody because of who'd be buying it. Think there would be enough demand to expose their paper Bitcoin practices.

2026-08-18 14:46:32 UTC

- reply

If you believe there was no corruption, collusion or conspiracy and that opinions of people around you constitute the consensus reality there is nothing I can tell you to stop you from using the Core version of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is not a popularity contest of opinions. The nodes have spoken and the chain has split. People do not gravitate towards Bitcoin because its popular but because it provides decentralized permissionless solution to money. If you're in no need of such solution it doesn't matter what you do next. But if such solution is what you need you'll end up diverging from the centralisation of the entire bitcoin ecosystem. And once that centralised ecosystem turns on the nodes, the social contract is broken and the network naturally defends itself and that's why we are here and that's why people don't want to go back to Core. Parting ways and rebuilding is the right thing to do.

2026-08-18 14:05:18 UTC

- reply

I think your idea of what constitutes network is somewhat misplaced. Larger ecosystem meaning miners, exchanges, wallets are servants of the network. The actually network is the nodes relaying information to each other. They asked miners to mine blocks according to some rules and the miners ignored them. There was no refusal to bip110 from inside the network unless you count the inflated 30% of core v30+ nodes which did not explicitly say no.

2026-08-18 09:22:03 UTC

- reply

You're still looking at it through fiat perspective. 1BTC will always be 1BTC if secured by a protocol without 3rd party. That's 1/21M. Core chain has now proven the ability to remove this attribute over time which will make 1BTC less valuable because it will become a smaller part of the full pie. You will then need to compare the size of economy each chain represents. Initially core chain will represent much larger economy but after some time it will be of no use to free people because it will become permissioned through centralisation so for free people such chain will represent a value of zero to their objectives.

2026-08-18 07:59:06 UTC

- reply

Because BIP110 chain split provided the ultimate evidence that the core chain decision making is centralised. Bitcoiners are not interested in yet another system with 3rd party and after what happened on 8 august, you will never get rid of that 3rd party on core chain because the mechanism you had for that removal has been proven removed.

2026-08-16 16:04:22 UTC

Could exchanges even offer it? All bought bip110 coin would go straight to self custody because of who is buying it and if the price is too low and we start draining their reservers they get exposed for their paper bitcoin practices really quickly.

Anyone can fork Bitcoin so the state with their people networks forked one for itself. Its been long known the state was getting ready to release a CBDC. Whether they release one using FED, IMF or fork their version of fully controlled Bitcoin doesn't matter if in the end this is fight between freedom tech decentralised permissionless money and fully controlled programmable money. Nothing has changed on this end.

2026-08-10 14:58:11 UTC

To sum it up. Node runners are in the market for software to help them relay information on Bitcoin network. A handful of Bitcoin Core devs offer the market a software that goes against basic security protol. Another software Knots offers an option that honours a good security feature. 30% of the network upgrades to core v30+. 20% stands up to it and 50% sticks to status quo which mean small opreturn. The market has spoken. 70% wants the software with small opreturn. Then a handful of people in control of miners decides that 30%(prob inflated number) is what will be used. Is this a wish of the free market or has the decision been centrally decided and pushed onto the rest of the ecosystem? How is this decentralised money? How is this fine?

2026-08-10 14:48:46 UTC

- reply

Also the comment free market learning what works makes no sense. Because the market for this software - Core/Knots and its specifix attributes are nodes. Nodes are the market for this software and the majority do not approve of this.

Core pushes v30 without any community support - an update that is against the basic Bitcoin protocol security - implemented.
20% of the community pushes for an update to roll it back, with another 50% on old core version never supporting v30 - denied. How is this fine?

Back to focusing on things we can control. Can't control the fact state creates their own coin and onboards their fiat followers on it. What we can do is keep working on our own coin that secures our freedom to transact and hold value in an ecosystem with other fiat opposing freedom loving humans.

If this turns out to be a majority of bitcoin ecosystem conspiracy its hard to imagine gettting support from exchanges after the split as they are all dependent on market makers who are likely to be a part of such conspiracy. In such a scenario we would get BIP110 Bitcoin rid of centralised miners, corrupt devs, shitcoin casinos, state and large corporations accumulators, propagandists, fake celebrities - basically everything Bitcoiners want to abandon anyway in exchange for stolen brand and network effect so the hijackers can take GMO Bitcoin and sell it to their fiat followers. One could even argue all of this is still favourable to BIP110 Bitcoin since the success of Bitcoin heavily depends on people individually raising their knowledge of the one problem Bitcoin solves which is fiat money and consequently the brilliant engineering solution Bitcoin offers.

Probably the desired outcome of this attack. True Bitcoin ideals survive on minority fork. Bitcoin brand stolen and used to sell the public the State Bitcoin. Exchanges confiscate all non custodial bip110 coin by not distributing and then keep selling the State majority coin to unsuspecting newcomers. Then keep tweaking the majority coin until its full CBDC or fiat or it collapses. Then return to the minority coin to fight it more. Long timeline.
