Is there a "YAML but without the surprises" that's as easy to edit by hand (and ideally well supported)?

I'm not saying that stock Android is _good_, but quite a few of the more stupid things (mostly the system apps with nonsensical permissions) are a Samsung thing. GrapheneOS is probably one of the least crappy ways to use Android if you value weird things like consent and privacy.

I'm pretty sure you can strongly link various things that cause suffering to capitalism, like the climate crisis, poverty, global inequality, factory farming, ableism... I've also heard arguments that various (other) discriminations like sexism, racism, queerphobia, etc are intertwined with capitalism.
I don't think any of these would be completely non-existent without capitalism, but at the very least they are reinforced and exacerbated by capitalism.

I mean, I'm not deep into theory, but there is a lot of unneccessary suffering caused by capitalism and associated harmful stuff right?

Ohh interesting, as a non-native English speaker I always assumed that "cease" means "stop doing the thing you're doing right now" and that "desist" means "don't start doing it again in the future". Neat (but somewhat confusing) to learn that that's not the case!

I almost immediately lost one of my stud earrings after I got my earlobe pierced, got a replacement, then lost that one too after while, after that I just gave up so now I'm switching the one I have from left to right 🙈
