I can't help but notice the glee radiating from the right wing media as The Hill, the NYT, Politico and the rest insist that one guy who was never elected to any office is somehow a problem for the whole Democratic party.
Sitting Republicans get convicted of heinous crimes on a regular cadence and these same media outlets say " boys will be boys" and move on.
It's not hard to see their bias.

While the idea that the whole event was staged seems far-fetched, Trump's little charade with the ear bandage was so transparently false as to invite these types of questions.

I got to say, I never anticipated a situation where the absolutely garbage religious whack jobs running Iran would be the "good" guys in comparison to my country, and yet, here we are.
All I can say is, fuck you, Republican fascists. There is no hell hot enough for you.

"Who now would believe anything the US 'guaranteed'?"
At the risk of being "that guy," I would reply no one should have ever trusted the US. Ask the Native Americans why.
While the US was "rebuilding Europe," we were also sheltering and protecting former Nazis who our government thought were useful. At the same time we protected and sheltered American Nazis who had attempted to overthrow the government here.
The mask is off now, but the face never changed.

I'm a huge fan of Wonkette and Hurst, BUT... from the article:
"The mainstream media is not ready. They’re gonna have to get ready, though, because..."
It saddens me that people doing actual journalism cannot get their heads around the US media's capture. The MSM isn't unaware or unready. They are literally part of the fascist system.
I know folks want to think that ABCNNBCBS will come to its senses. But it won't. It's the enemy. The good people who are there are just a disguise.

Well, AR Moxon, @nprofile…nvs0 has a new essay today and this definition of terrorist is in there: "These days "a terrorist" is just somebody with a Republican bullet in them or somebody a Republican would like to put a bullet into, in case you didn't know."
Moxon appears to be out of fucks.

The Nazis learned how to bigot from the USA, the world leader in bigotry and racial violence. The Nazis thought they could genocide the Jews because Americans had already done it to the native Americans.
The US isn't bringing the Nazis back, we're showing the world that the Nazis were the students and the USA is the teacher.

It was about Christians being horrible, as pointed out in the quote, and how that doesn't draw condemnation of the entire religious group, because white Protestants are never even held personally accountable, much less seen as indicative of their entire religion. Unlike with Muslims, where every bad act is used to condemn the entire religion.

It's customary in these cases to blame the entire group for the behavior of its worst members.
Or does that only apply to Muslim folks?

If the Dems gain control of the House before the mid-terms, they could advance articles of impeachment. My preference would be a single charge of bribery. There are dozens of examples to choose from. Pick the easiest one to prove. Use bribery since it is explicitly named in the Constitution. Make it simple and clear. Force the GOP Senate to face it during the election.

They are killing people, putting people in concentration camps, looting the economy, crushing civil rights, arresting dissenters. They even have stupid hats just like your Nazis.
They are Nazis.
And I don't give one single fuck about changing their minds. Fuck Nazis, Republicans, and everyone who wants to make nice with them.

The point is that Trump is not the problem. The fascist Republican Party is the problem. It went off the rails shortly after Truman beat Dewey and never recovered.
It has now become a wholly owned subsidiary of the Russian mob.

"And the sadists control enough of the media"
I've seen people say that the left needs to have a media industry like the right's. I'm don't see long term value in legacy media. I'd rather progressives turned toward a different type of media ownership. Having a better billionaire doesn't sound like a long term solution to the information problem. Creating new ways to transmit news and undermine existing channels does.

The US didn't attack Russia. NATO didn't attack Russia. Ukraine didn't attack Russia.
Russia is not the victim.

Wow, lots of Democrats on today fighting against and blaming the left for their losses.
The left didn't vote for Trump.
The left has never been in power in the USA.
The left isn't the problem and never has been.
I swear if Democrats fought the fascists as hard as they fight people who want universal health care, we wouldn't have had a Republican president since Nixon.
