And we are back with Howard’s “mutual obligations”. Which are obligations on the recipient but not the government. Back to punishing the unfortunate in today’s cost of living crisis. Time to get back to the CES and dump privatised JobSearch agents.

Australia is a low tax country. The problem is PAYE tax payers shoulder the biggest proportion of the tax bill. When huge companies like News corp avoid tax all together the employees have to fill the gap.
More effort taxing big business is need to rebalance the tax take.

It’s great news that sheep and solar panels mix well for good results. But I have always wondered why Australian farmers insist on obliterating every tree in their paddocks. Then place Northern Europe animals out in Australia’s harsh climate with no protection. Maybe replanting a few trees would also yield better animal health.

Domestic violence doesn’t exist, it’s assault and battery nothing less.
Any government in Australia not fully funding resources to address this problem needs to be hounded out of office. It’s the biggest single issue in the country and it’s getting worse!
If a man in the pub was assaulted the way a woman is assaulted at home the perpetrator would be behind bars before you could blink and the government would be rolling out new laws daily.

In the last night Sydney writers event the Redbridge poll was discussed. One of the comments from Barry Cassidy was the laziness of the Nationals who basically inherited their seats. The same for many Labour and Liberals in safe seats who haven’t done enough for their electorates. They are being overwhelmed by voter anger which is been picked up by the chancers at One Nation(backed by SkyNews).

First congratulations on getting a battery and solar.
I’ve had a battery/solar for 4 years and it’s been a life saver.
For winter have a look at recharging the battery at night using the off peak rates or changing your electricity plan if it only a flat rate. Some batteries can be programmed with the electricity rates to do this automatically.
Enjoy life without any power interruptions and you will stop looking at it all the time eventually.

Indonesia’s nickel processing uses the country’s abundant reserves of low-grade nickel to produce two main products: Nickel Pig Iron (NPI) and ferronickel, which are primarily used for stainless steel, and Mixed Hydroxide Precipitate (MHP), an essential ingredient in EV batteries.
Despite Indonesia’s push for EV battery production, NPI and ferronickel make up almost 80 percent of its nickel processing, while MHP accounts for less than 20 percent. As a result, only a small fraction of Indonesia’s processed nickel supports EV batteries.
Nickel is also used as a catalyst in petroleum production.
