8bit Quantised 32 Billion Qwen and K2 class models are comparable to comercial tier LLMs for coding and Agentic reasoning.
At about 30GB, most modern phones could easily accomodate that, especially if a small "boot loader" loads first and nukes all the memes and family pics.
Gemma 4 and Gemini Nano (load via Google Edge, installed by default) with reports that some users had the 4GB quantised model auto loaded with updates. It is surprisingly capable and works in flight mode/offline.
Have a play on apple or android its a 2 step process.
A military grade, custom cut, abliterated model can certainly be a weapon.
Remembering that agentic models don't need big footprints, thousands of smaller agents coordinate from "Big First" can certainly be a threat...
... Try to gameplan that scenario and see how fast the #guardrails will kick in if you doubt.
Confidently incorrect, not just reserved for #LLM models

I went to the #Korean minimart for junk food yesterday...
Few reasons.
a) I rarely eat junkfood these days, so when I do, I like surprises. Is it going to be sweet or sour? Crunchy or wiggly? Is it even food, or am I munching on dishwashing pods that look like turtles?
b) The mainstream supermarkets in #australia (Colesworth) decided to stripmine the survivors of #climatecollapse #apocalypse
A pack of chips (crisps?) costs as much as 2.5-3 Liters of gasoline.
Its actually cheaper to buy garbage from across the equator than from down the road.
c) The K-pop supermarket has a vaguely #cyberpunk feel to it. I feel like Decard loading up on rations between retiring skinjobs.
Accidentally I found a pack of tasty peanuts that actually look and taste like peanuts used to back in the 1980s. Its covered in some unidentified powder that might be an accelerant that tastes like chicken.

Once you get over the initial skill hump.
Ai actually does give you the mythical x10 productivity boost.
Even allowing for the real, uneven results generated by Ai (because human workers are always 100% accurate and never phone in their output), the productivity boost is real.
Real world example.
I had a user yesterday who wanted to change their WP theme, but they wanted to drop elementor. And wanted to ensure they could do a clean divorce.
Sure, you could check all 220 WordPress HTML pages to see which contain elementor tags manually, asses the degree of fuckery with your brilliant 100% biological mind that just craves to do shitty work like this.
or
You could prepare a grep script checking each element or tag vs the HTML, and still evaluate the impact manually. But the user had no skill to do that.
or
You could pay webmonkey about $500 by my accounting.
Or you could set Ai on it and 30min later you could have a HTLM report, assessing the impact precisely.
So your options were 2-4 days of mindnumbing boring and error prone work that gave very low quality results (the actual assessment) or 30minutes of Ai that's good enough.
There is a genuine AiPsychosis phenomenon, but mastering a tool that is still in its nascent stage of development is hardly psychosis.
No more than choosing a power tool over a manual one.

To draw a computer parallel, these are the folks who programmed by hand an index cooking recipe on their Vic20 and excitedly shown it to their boss at work to put into production.
Bulk of the folks who run Ai in production have no idea what a context is, preprompts or know what model to use or even how to change the model.

#disclosure movie review
When #Spielberg released the superbly popular "Close Encounters of the third kind" in 1977 he has brough #UFO into mass public consciousness #Zeitgeist
You can watch "Disclosure" as an average chase movie. But in reality, Disclosure is actually designed as "Close Encounters of the third kind 2". Like many famous artistst/writers before him he speaks directly to the human psyche.
There is presently an actual #Disclosure going on right now (its superbly unfortunate that it is happening under the most corrosive president).
Legitimate documents and videos demostrating #NHI - Non human technology and presence on earth are being constantly released (we are in tranche 3 now).
The movie is 100% accurate about the entirety of " #Aliens are here" with a very thin veneer of hollywood coating. Anyone who is read in on the subject of #UAP will see the call outs immediately, #Experiencers , 79 years, Special Programs, the remote viewing, the masking memories (animals), a secretive private organisation keeping and monetising the #alien tech and keeping the knowledge away from the people because "They can not handle it".
Many of the videos in the "leaks" in the movie are actual released, legitimate UFO videos
Folks have a couple of set reponse modes when facts about the Others are presented.
1) Ridicule - 79 years of "hahaha little green men" still works superbly
2) Inexplicable fear, you can see many folks get super angry at the mere mention of credible evidence. Almost as if programmed
3) Inability to converse on the topic at all.
This movie is important, not as an entertaining movie (though it is that), but because it moves the reality of aliens interacting with humans closer into common understanding.
The Others are here, and time (allegedly) is running out for us for a big reveal. This is why the disclosure is here (both the movie and the event).
If you are not plugged in, when "The event" comes, there will be billions of people experiencing #Ontologicalshock
This movie is a lubricant for the dildo of consequence of ignorance/secrecy.

There is nothing uniquely special about #tomahawks.
Back in the early days of the internet, I was following a New Zealander who was building a tomahawk like missile in his garage until told to please stop.
Sure, they have better motor and software, but Germany is doing the US military industry a favour by ordering them. Germany is totally capable of making their own, likely cheaper because no rnd necessary.

Unless you need water while you're away, turn it off at the mains.
I went to Europe once and my toilet cistern started hemoraging in a big way. Thank the lords of architecture, bathroom floor had a grate build in and instead of a flooded house I came to a large water bill 😬

I agree, this kind of oversight is atypical.
I found it quite hard to get accurate consumption data out of the models.
Token caching is most certainly baked in the Models. So ordinary users will still experience ti.-The reason for it is why early internet providers invested heavily in cache systems, to save $.
At the end of the day, I strongly suspect that the Ai mongers are charching as much as the market will bear.
It has less to do with accurate accounting per token, but extracting maximum value that the client is prepared to pay for, hence the token accounting is very elastic.

Tokens get cached.
I've orchestrated a tool that squeezes every available token of #compute out of my account, and as a consequence I have a pretty good insight on compute burn (see the cached #token field).
And that's before installing a local token saver tool that can save up to 95% of burn by local indexation/cache.

Mangrove honey.
The apiarist recons it's got the goodness of the sea as the bees pick up the seaside minerals and such. He moves his bees around.
Mind you 60% of his wisdom is ancient truths, the other 40% nonsense 😑

I've got another jar of this fresh super tasty mangrove honey from my #apiarist friend...
...I will be a better person this time and not give myself sugar shock eating all of it in one sitting with a spoon like a savage.

Do you have one of those tea brewing pots I heard about that season with each brew?
I heard one of the tea fans loose their cookies when someone washed theirs.

Down under in the communist #Australia, we have a "Dial before you dig" phone line funded by the utilities. It's a phone line and a computer with GIS utility layers. We also have heavy fines for ripping utilities because we live in an oppressive communist dictatorship where people are not free.
This is probably way too backward for an advanced state like Naziland.
