I think that’s the other part to this… they want you to move your idle coins to a new address. It gives them new data and they probably have monitoring tools installed basically everywhere to be able to figure out who probably moved them with a good degree of accuracy. Or at least to narrow it down to whose they might be.

I don't think there's such a thing. If you used dice rolls it does not use the built in random generator at all. It uses a standard algorithm that all the other seed generators use too (the seed words you get are reproducible given the same dice rolls). If you used the dice rolls then used the password generator to make a passphrase you should still be ok as the important part is the seeds and those used the dice rolls as the entropy. But you still may want to change the passphrase and move the funds.

To remain in this position they need to replace what they used up and the newer weapons are more expensive.

If you don’t see it in the conf file then there’s a hard coded default that is automatically set by Bitcoin core. They bump that default value up on every new release. During reindexing of assumevalid blocks I see low cpu usage. I’m not sure what the bottleneck is there. Nothing in my system seems to be maxed out during that assumevalid part of re-indexing/IBD.

What cpu were/are you using?

If you look at overall cpu usage it seems low... But verification is a single thread process. So one of the 8 or 12 logical CPU's will be maxed out. Buying the fastest single thread CPU would be upgrade that would make the most difference.
https://www.cpubenchmark.net/singleThread.html
GPU's are good for parallel processing not really good at single thread performance. That's why they're never used in Bitcoin nodes.

I don’t think the utxo bloat is as big a deal as it’s made out to be. In my way of thinking… you’re admitting that Bitcoin has a bad design if you think it is a big deal.
During initial block download the loading and unloading of the utxo set from the hard drive is becoming trivial. Segwit and Taproot have now made verification of the chain more cpu intensive. If you think utxo bloat is a very big deal then I think you need to consider those two changes as being bad decisions for Bitcoin. They will save you storage and keep the full size of the blockchain data smaller in exchange for increased cpu usage. I think that is a bigger deal than storage space.
If you’re running a public node or a private node for a business and you need to be able to process/query LOTS of transactions then maybe storing the full utxo set in ram will be beneficial. If you’re running a personal node then I don’t think running the full utxo set in ram is necessary.
What you’re basically looking for is a shortcut, skipping proof of work for the node… i.e. checkpoints. There are several already included in Bitcoin Core.
Have you looked into this project? It’s doing a shortcut on the utxo set to bootstrap IBD.
https://bitcoinops.org/en/topics/utreexo/
Also the project led by Eric Voskuil, libbitcoin, is a full Bitcoin node server/client/wallet that is designed from the ground up. I think it might have the ability to keep the full utxo set in ram. Still a work in progress… they’ve been working on it over 5 years maybe closer to 10.

Typical 4 year cycle people would say next top is 2029, meaning the next four year cycle starts 2026. So top could be in 2026 and then down for 3 years and then who knows from there.

Alternate possibility is the 4 year cycle continues but top happens at the very beginning of this next 4 year cycle.

A close relative of mine gave birth to 8 kids all naturally and all very easily (no complications). She has basically no athletism and doesn't really pay attention to her health/diet. So, anecdotally, I see it being more genetics.

Reading that made me think of this passage from Watts….
But now, a perfectly logical person would therefore say that the notion of the Self—the Ātman, as the fundamental reality in which everything else exists—is meaningless. And, of course, from a logical point of view it is.
But at the same time, just because something cannot be put into a logical category does not indicate that it isn’t real. The Self, you see, bears somewhat the same relationship to the world as the diaphragm of the speaker in this radio bears to the music you’ve just been hearing. None of the music was about the diaphragm and nobody said anything about there being a diaphragm. The diaphragm, as such, didn’t come into the picture, and yet it was everything in the picture. All those different noises were vibrations of this thin film of metal. So, also, with your eardrum. So, also, with the apparatus of your eyes.
So one might ask, then—just as you say, “Well, what is it on? What is the music on? Is it on tape, is it on a speaker, is it on a drum?” Whatever the variations may be, we can ask the question, “What are you all on? What is all this on?” And the Hindus answer, “It’s on the Self”
