as a long time listener of @npub1qny…95gx and @npub1guh…6hjy it is pretty tough to listen to then right now. i'm sure they are embarrassed but it is pretty tough earning back listeners trust. they have been amazing educators but it is wild to see them invest in a security company and not demand a security audit as part of their investment or a condition of their share ownership.
presumably the only reason they invested was that nvk and dochex wanted some exit liquidity

you run a company that is making a lot of money and realize that you messed up. you cannot tell people to regenerate seeds since you will instantly get everyone hacked and you go out of business.
if you don't do the hack yourself then someone else will and you will go outbid business
if you do the hack yourself then you go out of business but make a lot of money.
you didn't start off with this plan but unfortunately were forced into it by your mistake and your greed.
before you do the attack you need to release a new product to make it look like you would never intentionally destroy your company

i'm not a cryptographer, but I do know when writing security software it's obvious in your brain that you don't really understand what's going on and you need to ask for help
especially if shipping something that's going to affect customers directly you think about shipping something you don't understand and how it could really affect them
i've met many programmers who have an ego that drives deep into the company culture, especially if you're willing to ship something you don't understand
it's obvious the culture of quality at this company is piss poor
I remember in model one they shipped buttons that didn't work
money drive a culture like this, not a passion for creating value

all of these coldcard movements are causing tons of coinjoin datasets to be reduced. the only private way forward is lightning. coinjoin was a fun experiment but all of this new movement is reducing anonymity sets by a lot.

2026-08-02 11:22:27 UTC

do no trust a hardware wallet even the ones still standing with giving you a random seed.
do not trust a desktop wallet either. draw your own words from a bucket that are cut out and replace the word you drew each time. then use seed signer to calculate your 24th word.

3. use no logging glm5.2 model on deepinfra
4. ask claude to create a open code command that exports its project memories and agents.md for each of your projects into opencode when you run the command
5. launch opencode in a directory of a project and run the command claude made and bring over your agents.md files
6. enjoy being free of anthropic with mythos level coding
