We invite submissions, both written and visual, exploring these ideas. The zine is a collaborative, mixed media project so we encourage not only written submissions, but visual submissions also.

But suffice to say we learned our lesson. It never occurred to us that anyone would *want* to steal something under a sign which essentially says "this is very bad for your vagina". So now our cursed predatory vaginal cleaning products are safely displayed behind glass...

Monday morning Vagina Museum deep lore: in this display, we had a magnet which said MILF, and it got stolen so many times that we gave up. We are delighted that our MILF visitors to feel represented but couldn't afford to keep on replacing our MILF magnet.

As the magnets in this display get more faded and bedraggled with every hand that touches them, we can see which words resonate with our visitors the most. Whether that be because they’re familiar or relatable, whether it’s because they’re spot on or dead wrong we can’t say. Nevertheless, we’re intrigued by the insights that emerge.

The menstrual product ad trope of a jubilant woman going rock climbing or bungee jumping or doing athletic feats is associated with the 1980s, but it's in fact way older than that. This menstrual product ad from the late 19th century shows a very jubilant woman going cycling.

It's the moment we've been waiting for: the grand final vote on the slang to replace the now terribly-unfashionable Hairy Potter on our slang merch design. The winner will appear on postcards, cards, and maybe even some new products. Pick your winner!
