The Department of Defense has announced the creation of a new office of religious affairs to oversee religious policy, funding and "spiritual readiness" across the military.
"Our department is, you might say, putting on the full armor of God because while we wage physical war, we all know the real battle is spiritual," Secretary Pete #Hegseth said. Hegseth's extreme religious views have nothing to do with the discharge of his official duties. https://www.wbaltv.com/article/department-of-defense-establishes-office-religious-affairs/73983951
