i will say, most early Make Some Noise episodes from Dropout are kinda grating because Sam Reich hypes all his contestants up and they don't always deserve it (?) but also because the format works when the judge and contestants have a little antagonistic tension between them (which is why Game Changer works so well). recent ones are better about it. but yeah i showed those early episodes to Whose Line Is It Anyway fans (it aired a LOT here in india) and they pretty uniformly hated it.
