Looks like @npub1exv…d828 will implement badges in `v7.1.0` for those who support /donate. I am really pleased to see that they opted for some fancy new [scheme](https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-irtf-cfrg-bbs-signatures/), instead of shitcoins or nfts. Hopefully, it stays that way, or else I will migrate to matrix. For now this still rings true!

Understand that this might be most prevelant opinion "don't want to spend digital gold on a taco". However, its so easy to counter this with "simply replace the sats that you spent". That way you are just using better money for tacos and not spending digital gold
I honestly love spending sats on tacos, because its more private than any other payment solution and the best is I can run my own node

I share your sentiment about hitchhiking. I've hitchhiked before, however it's 10years ago since the last time. In total about 5000km. Every trip is documented in a little notebook. The longest trip lasted two weeks. Remember reading Jack Kerouac 's "on the road" during that time of my life. These profound experiences, including feeling lost in the woods next to a highway, really changed me for the better.

I've started tagging places with payment:zapper and paymenyt:lightning is this the best way forward? I feel like it makes more sense to add an additional tag and not onlylightningg. So either zapper or snapscan coz this implies that the merchants does not necessarily know that they are accepting LN payments.
