If my kid had a trans teammate, my main concern would be some psycho showing up to harass her or film the kids to put on social media. You assholes are so out of line that any discussion about a tiny non issue you want to have is now moot. It’s just don’t let the psychos win.

What I have seen now is an endless stream of assholes making a mockery of women’s sports, saying any man would destroy any woman, sending this message out into the world, suggesting insane blood tests and invasive shit I would never agree to. That’s 100000x more concerning.

I am actually pretty middle of the road on the issue. Think starting in high school there are fairness issues etc but it’s literally the last thing I’ve ever thought about before this. I live in fucking Berkeley and spend all day at practices. Have never seen one trans athlete.

AS THE FATHER OF A DAUGHTER who plays a lot of sports, I’m much more concerned about women’s sports becoming an unending culture war where a bunch of hateful psychos endlessly mock what she does. What are we doing here.
