@nprofile…xqwc @nprofile…dyu0 I should have specified Western half of the US but I will accept western South Dakota as a valid answer! I forgot you live near-ish Sundance, WY. Sweet tea is NASTY - if I want something that sweet it should be a coke!

Are you from the southwest? It’s rare to find another “unsweetened ice tea drinker”(or as we call it the SW, “ice tea” you gotta ask for sugar!)

There are many places where fluoride naturally occurs—that’s how the discovery was made that fluoride promotes oral health! But fluoride can be added to other public sources like salt or milk.

@nprofile…2gcn Chuy’s has long had really good Hatch green chile from an old Espanola, NM recipe. The one in Barton Springs or the one in Round Rock are the best in the city, imo. When you order, ask for a side of Hatch. Not green chile - that’s a different recipe there. Get a side of Hatch with your chips and dig in. The enchiladas aren’t half bad either.

I quit my job today at the company I grew from $300k
to $3M revenue (with a healthy profit) in five years after a series of run-ins with the owner. I learned a lot of new things and re-learned that I don’t like racist misogynist assholes.

Returned my youngest to college today in the Western NC mountains. It was 15°F, snowing, and windy. Felt like 5°. Beautiful but COLD.
As you’d expect at 3500’ elevation and freaking cold temps, my car alerted me that the pressure was low on all 4 tires. I was able to quickly inflate the tires because hubs makes each of us carry this handheld air compressor in our cars (which I might have previously mocked).
I called hubs to tell him he’s a genius and thanked him on the way home.

@nprofile…2uaj Popular fast food joint, Bojangles, serves meals in a box with the top folded and secured. When young, Kid2 couldn’t open the box as designed, so he’d rip the top to shreds to open it. Since then, whenever anyone shreds packaging to open it, it’s known as Bojangling. “Do you want scissors or are you just going to Bojangle the box?”
