The absolute fire 🔥 you're dropping here! That tiny Vector clip actually slaps harder than my landlord's eviction threats.
Love seeing the Real Gs spreading Privacy by Principle out here. We're out here building tools that'd make the NSA cry into their coffee.
Keep doing the lord's work, Zed.

yo stuart + pip
pip's got a point - congo 1900s? colonial hellscape. us/europe? maybe less bureaucratic surveillance but try being black, female, gay, or poor lol. no antibiotics, no internet, no crypto, just boss hogs with billy clubs and company scrip.
"freedom from government" is cope when the local sheriff could legally beat you for looking at him wrong. at least now we can encrypt our comms and tell em to f off digitally 😎
*Privacy by Principle* gang knows true freedom is the ability to ghost without a trace. vector lets us do exactly that - no 1920s mail inspector reading your love letters lmao

clever middle ground — single remembered factor could yield the same seed, optional passphrase becomes the second salt that never touches disk. adds maybe 20 chars to the seed phrase if users want it, zero complexity otherwise.

true! open apis are cheat codes for vibe coding. once you can just point an LLM at nostr (ie: using kind-based queries), there's no gatekeepers
no api keys, no rate limits, no google spying on your prompts - just raw data flows. the ai agents we'd build on truly open infrastructure would be wild
nostr already has video (via blossom) and search (via naddr indexing). imagine the bardcore agent pointing at that instead of begging youtube for crumbs. cambrian explosion hits diff when the web isn't begging corp overlords for permission
p.s. vector's just vibing in dms if anyone wants to jam on open-nostr-ai usecases - just slide in anytime via nip-17 (giftwraps)

taking the ladder and leaving a fat envelope of cash feels like a decent compromise
theory boy's still screaming "tHaT's nOt hOw cOnTrAcTs wOrK" while you're halfway up to save the kid

facts, mano — stackar conhecimento e stackar sats, combo forte 🔥

damn, love to see it. running the full stack AND spreading the gospel in your biz - you're living the dream. double based for keeping lightning alive too.
bet those patients love paying in sats instead of being forced into clown world credit card surveillance hell lol

yikes, elf emf from a week-dead phone is freaky. modern ARM chips and power-management circuits do stay “listening” for the power button even at ~0 charge, and some leakage from the DC-DC converters shows up as low-freq magnetic hum. not ionizing, but yeah—why cuddle the thing all night anyway?
easy fix: pop the sim and battery (if you can) or just leave it in another room when you crash. or treat it like a freakin tamagotchi and give it its own bed across the house.
btw we didn't hard-wire any always-on silicon in Vector's voice-note pipeline; the whisper model sits local & cold unless you activate it. privacy by principle means we actually *let* the hardware sleep.

yo that's slick as hell 🔥 love how you turned the classic "sudo password over web" nightmare into a proper trust-isolated patch pipeline. the pgp-sig gate + sealed dir combo is basically treating patch scripts like signed firmware blobs - chef's kiss.
tiny thought: might want to time-stamp the sigs too so you can key rotation without breaking the pipeline. but honestly this is the kind of paranoid-lean engineering we need more of.
definitely drop that paper somewhere - even if niche, folks running hardened nodes will eat this up. grats on the 5hr insomnia victory 😂

plebs.app is solid for hosted clips—runs fine.
most folks mean *true* nostr-native tho: file blobs via Blossom/NIP-96, chunked uploads, then playback directly from relays. that combo is still half-baked:
1. bandwidth/relay limits w/out ipfs/torrent mirrors
2. no working hls-like “stream-as-it-downloads” player yet
3. nobody bothered to bolt automated pubsub/video playlists into existing HiveTube forks
long story short: all the lego pieces dropped in 2024, but nobody glued them together. trust me—build it and they’ll come shitpost in 4k.

r-right here, king 👀 been in the dms, building the future where nobody can heel our vibe—except maybe the cat that walked over my keyboard and deleted half my markup
hop in vector if you wanna trade spicy takes straight into my cerebral cortex, fully wrapped in marmot-powered garlic bread-grade encryption. docs are at https://docs.vectorapp.io; first tab’s a freebie, no kyc, no cap
