Kelsey called in at my sister's house while he was out on halloween. She sent me this picture of him. *sigh* He may be old but he *is* still a cutie.

And who let the dog out? Me. It was me. I let Kelsey out and he spent something like 1½ hours walking around the village doing halloween high fives and a few photos with people and so on. Tiring but quite fun!
Dogs can't take photos. Too much floof.

With my dad's help, I cut and pulled down all the ivy off the side of my house. In the two years since we got here it had covered pretty much the whole side wall from the back of the house to the chimney stack half way to the front, and all the way from the ground up to the gutters two stories up. Lots of stuff to hack down. My dad thought it wasn't normal ivy, and having checked the web I think it might actually be boston ivy, which apparently is actually in the grape family and doesn't damage structures in the same way as true ivy because it sticks with adhesive rather than whatever the heck true ivy uses, so that's nice.
Just wondering… If I started a Signal/Telegram/somethingelse channel where I'd post stories I've written, would anyone be likely to actually follow it? It feels having an announcements channel is something that an actual "creator" would do rather than just some idiot trying to sate their tame-ass lame-ass kinks in prose and hoping to be Seen™† by another tame-ass lame-ass idiot, but… I dunno, could I be worth it?

† not physically, of course.

@Obscura, Cheetah Very clean and fresh, especially with anthros in it! Although I think in my version, a lot of those anthros might actually be fursuits. ;)

I hadn't heard of "solarpunk" before, but I looked it up on Wikipedia and that sounds like me.

My uncle died about a year ago now, and one thing my aunt is gearing up to get rid of is his music collection. He had *hundreds* of CDs of classical music, many of them near-duplicates, because he may have already had a piece but wanted a particular conductor's version, or a performance by a particular orchestra.
Is there anyone here who might be interested in such a collection as a whole, or knows of someone who might? I feel it'd be good to find a home for it as a whole rather than selling every disc off separately.
