I feel the same way, and I just hope that #democrat infighting, defections, and complacency don't distract and blunt progress.

I hope somebody is keeping track of all the CTRL-Z work needed after Trump's departure.

UFO is easily my favorite Gerry Anderson series. Space: 1999 is good, but I think I prefer Ed Bishop and crew over Martin Landau's.
And Ed Bishop's hair! (/swoon)

I watched the first couple of series and had them on DVD or BR (can't remember which) before converting to digital/streaming. Glad to see the franchise has continued.

I don't have the specific stats on hand, but I would guess that the vast majority of US farmers voted for the very administration that ran on the anti-world and anti-immigration policies being inflicted on them. They can't get farmhands in the field, factories, or supply channels needed to harvest and sell their crops. And tariffs have made that problem mute at this point as there are now no markets for their goods.
I can't say I have a lot of sympathy for those that contributed to all of this happening. The farm industry has been subsidized (helped) for years to what end?
Maybe US farmers should actively do something about the current administration (legally) instead of actively asking for 'socialist' handouts.
(And to those US farmers that didn't vote for the clown-in-chief, I'm sorry. Your fellow farmers did you dirty).

Boorish (but not surprising) behavior by Sinclair and Nexstar. But I'm guessing ultimately not as effective at suppressing Kimmel's content as it might be with shows with older viewers (aka Fallon). Without looking at the numbers, I'd venture to guess that Kimmel's average viewer is younger, and therefore more comfortable consuming content via alternate distribution channels.
I'm glad the show is back in production. I hope it remains for a long time.

The neighbors down the street had Z channel, and I thought they were cool until I found out they were using a third party decoder that ended up fucking up the signal for other local paying customers. They turned out to be hardcore South Orange County MAGAts. So assholes on multiple fronts.

A former boss of mine was a huge Star Citizen rube. He dumped a lot of cash to buy all the new shiny NFTs er limited edition space toys. He ran his IT department the same way: dump cash into stuff without producing a measurable result.

Please add #lawyers to your list. They as a group have made it difficult (if not impossible) to hold the larger MAGAt shitbags responsible for their shittery. And some of them turn into judges that aid MAGAt misdeeds.
Yeah, I know, hits kinda close to home. Sorry, not sorry.

To all those that continually say "oh shit, TFG is gonna get it now", he hasn't since the 2020 election, has survived two impeachmments, is a convicted felon, has dodged a straightforward stolen documents case, and yet is still very much in the race for President. Dancing around declaring victory when it doesn't currently exist is exhausting.
Until TFG is dead, in jail, fully broke (aka Rudy or Jones), or evading justice in another country, his goose hasn't even been put in the oven.

Given the moron-tier, sanewashed horseshit coming out of the NYT over the past several years, this honesty made me chuckle.

I read this and am fascinated by the idea of being able to store atmospheric carbon dioxide in the ocean. I guess the question I have as somebody that has no biology background is this: once at scale, how would the additional CO2 being stored in the ocean affect the ocean's ecosystem?

I see this same behavior in sober folks. Somewhat triggering for me as both sides of my family have alcoholics and my brother (who I live with) is an active boozer.
Addiction is no joke.
